However, the manufacturer has made quite serious changes in the design of both the body and the interior, improving the appearance and significantly increasing the comfort of the car.

But the Peugeot 3008 has kept the former set of motors which includes 1,6-liter supercharged petrol and 2-liter turbo-diesel units.

After making these changes, prices for the French competitor Nissan X-Trail and Volkswagen Tiguan have risen to the minimum mark of 2.08 million rubles in Russia.

For this money you can buy a crossover with an 8-inch touchscreen monitor, a stereo system and several driving assistants.

The top version of the Peugeot 3008 offers a higher level of comfort, which provides front seat massage, an enlarged touchscreen, leather seats and other options.

Technical Specifications

Peugeot 3008 2022 is notable because it has received a new body and interior.

Although in the official photos the car also resembles its predecessor.

At the same time, the manufacturer has revised the configuration and prices. But the technical characteristics of the French model presented in Russia, remained the same.

In our country Peugeot 3008 comes standard with a 1,6-liter turbocharged engine, the maximal power of which has been artificially limited to the mark of 150 HP and its torque reaches 240 N*m.

It is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission, which provides acceleration up to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds with average gasoline consumption of 7 liters.

Turbo-diesel engine with a capacity of 2 liters is offered with the French model for extra charge.

Its declared useful power is the same 150 hp, but the torque is increased to 370 N*m.

An 8-speed ‘automatic’ is added to the set with a turbo-diesel. Peugeot 3008 in this version gains 100 km/h in 9,8 seconds and consumes up to 5,5 liters.

Abroad, the French model is available with two hybrid units based on the aforementioned 1.6-liter turbocharged engine.

Their cumulative output is respectively 180 and 200 hp.

The first version of the hybrid unit is supplemented by one electric motor, which is built into the gearbox. The output of this unit is 110 hp.

It is combined with a 13.2 kWh battery which provides an electric range of 56-59 kilometers.

The more expensive versions of the Peugeot 3008 are equipped with a hybrid which is combined with 110 and 112 hp electric motors installed respectively on the front and rear axles.

In foreign markets it is also possible to purchase a French crossover with a turbocharged 1.6 liter engine developing up to 180 hp.

After the restyling, the Peugeot 3008 has lost its 180-horsepower turbodiesel engine of 2 liters.

The basis of the crossover is the former EMP2 platform with McPherson struts in the front and semi-dependent torsion beam in the back.

The length of the French model is 4447 mm, width — 1841 mm, height — 1620 mm. Wheelbase size reaches 2675 mm and ground clearance — 219 mm.

Peugeot 3008 2022 is presented in Russia in three fixed configurations, the set of equipment in which has been slightly adjusted.

In the top version, the Peugeot 3008 2022 gets an original dodger, which gives the car a sportier look, and a two-tone body.

In this version, the front view camera, parking assistant, adaptive cruise, blind spots monitoring system, electrically adjustable luggage door and front seats with massage and electric drive, remembering the settings, become standard.

A panoramic sunroof and servo-driven sunroof are optional with the top version.

Safety

The Peugeot 3008 left a double impression after the passed crash-tests. In case of frontal and side impact the French crossover demonstrated good results for its class.

In such collisions the probability of injuries is less than 20%. Approximately the same results were shown for child protection.

However, the onboard electronics, responsible for safety, turned out to be inefficient. However, the lane-keeping assistant showed that it recognizes road markings well.

Advantages and disadvantages

Among the advantages of the French model stand out:
