Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder RS 2023.

The spotted prototype has wheels with central locking, additional ventilation holes, and its power will be about 500 horsepower.

Just a couple of hours ago we received «spy» photos of another Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder RS prototype. If our sources are correct, among other things, the German novelty boasts nearly 500 horsepower.

It also received a set of central locking wheels, and we know they are reserved for Porsche’s fastest street cars.

We see the same features on this car, spotted not on a race track but on country roads in Spain.

Small air vents are located at the top of the side panels, drawing in air near the rear mounting points of the fabric roof.

A rear view of this Porsche shows that the vents are angled toward the engine in the middle, likely increasing airflow for cooling.

The side vents look a little larger. The Naca air vents in the hood and the vents in the front fenders almost confirm that this is a Spyder RS.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that Porsche will develop electric motors for electric bikes of its own production and other brands.

The Porsche concern is serious about the eBike market. Its press center announced today that it continues to expand its commitment to the new mode of transportation.

The test prototype of the Porsche 718 Boxster Spyder RS 2023 was spotted at the Nürburgring. We have previously seen this powerful roadster in tests.

And this prototype, at first glance, does not differ from that one.

However, now the roof of the model is open and the Weissach inscription is embroidered on the headrests. This hints that the prototype is equipped with this package.

This package was first offered for the 918 Spyder supercar a few years ago.

It adds some lightweight components to the car to reduce weight.

It was previously available for several versions of the 911, but the German brand has hinted that this equipment may well appear on other models in the future, including the Cayenne crossover.

Excluding the embroidery on the seats, this prototype is no different from the one we’ve seen before.

The RS badge means that the car will get a nice power boost.

Under the hood of the 718 Boxster Spyder RS, there’s a 4.0-liter, uncharged six-cylinder opposition engine from the 911 GT3.

The roadster is likely to produce around 493 horsepower, or as much as the strongest version of the Cayman.

In addition, Porsche wants to add a lot of aerodynamic improvements.

Already now we can see that the engineers of the German company have installed a lot of air vents, including the side panels.

It’s also worth mentioning that the test prototype rides on wheels with central locking, which are used in the most powerful cars.

Most likely, the roadster will have slower acceleration than the 718 Cayman GT4 RS.

This coupe reaches the first «hundred» in just 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 315 km/h.
