Singer converted the classic Porsche 911 (964) into a rally car.

Singer Vehicle Design, which has made a name for itself on the refinement of Porsche models, has unveiled its new project — the ACS rally sports car, the name of which stands for «All-Terrain Competition Study».

The Singer ACS was built on the special order of one of the company’s clients, and rally expert Richard Tuthill took an active part in the development of the model.

Taking the modification of the Porsche 911 (964) of the 1990 model as a basis, the tuners replaced all the outer body panels with carbon-fiber counterparts, thereby facilitating the construction of the sports car.

At the front, the car also received large fins that act as protection against dirt. Plus, the car got 16-inch forged wheels with BF Goodrich tires.

As for the interior, it has a two-tone design and a powerful roll cage on the restomode.

The cockpit features racing bucket seats, a custom steering wheel, a carbon fiber hydraulic handbrake lever, and a co-pilot navigation system.

Singer ACS is equipped with a 3.6-liter inline twin-turbo «six» with a capacity of 450 hp, five-speed sequential gearbox and all-wheel drive system. The modification additionally boasts a capacious fuel tank and a full-size spare tire.

Other sports car features include removable 5mm aluminum underbody protection, long-travel suspension with adjustable shock absorbers, and steel brakes with four-piston calipers.

Interestingly, in fact, the client, whose name is not advertised in the company, ordered not one, but two such cars at once.

If a sports car with a white body paint is just intended for rally races on sand dunes, then a red two-door is ideal for high-speed races on asphalt.

And although the special Singer ACS was developed according to a personal order, the client did not mind that in the future the company would build such machines for other customers. The cost of this restomod is not advertised, but the projects of the American workshop often have a six-figure price tag (of course, in dollars).
