The «lightweight» Porsche 911 Turbo S 2023 is presented: 800 forces and 2.5 seconds to «hundreds».

Tuning studio TechArt plans to produce 19 of these cars.

Atelier TechArt presented an 800-horsepower supercar based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

The novelty is called GTstreet R Flyweight and it is 60 kilograms lighter than the standard model.

The coupe accelerates to the first “hundred” in just 2.5 seconds, its maximum speed is 350 kilometers per hour.

As befits a track day machine, the GTstreet R Flyweight features a roll cage, racing bucket seats, adjustable Öhlins dampers and forged 20″ front and 21″ forged wheels.

Rumors that TechArt is working on its first supercar of its own have not been confirmed.

The German studio really declassified the new car, but it turned out to be just a further development of the GTstreet R program.

The novelty was named GTstreet R Flyweight. It will be released in an amount of 19 pieces, which with 87 regular GTstreet R will refer to the year the company was founded.

Since the coupe is based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S of the 992 generation, it got a 3.8 boxer biturbo six.

Even stock, it produces 650 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, but on the GTstreet R and GTstreet R Flyweight, the return was brought up to 800 horsepower and 950 Nm.

To do this, I had to replace turbochargers, filters and some other little things, as well as fill in other software in the engine and transmission control units.

In addition, the geometry of the front suspension has been optimized on the GTstreet R Flyweight.

Stock shocks have been replaced with Öhlins coilovers.

Lightweight forged Formula VI Race Flyweight wheels have reduced unsprung weight by almost five kilograms compared to previous Formula VI Races.

And the hand-welded exhaust system with a switchable valve was 2.8 kilograms lighter.

As a result, the coupe accelerates to the first “hundred” in 2.5 seconds (the usual 911 Turbo S has 2.8 seconds), to 200 in 7.5.

The maximum speed exceeds 350 kilometers per hour, although the limiter in the source code works at 330.

For the sake of aerodynamics, a new splitter, side «wings», wings with «gills» and a rear wing with three positions of one of the planes appeared on the car.

The hood is now attached with quick-release fasteners, instead of the rear window — polycarbonate, there is no rear sofa. Not surprisingly, after all the modifications, Flyweight threw off 60 kilograms.

Finally, optional on the regular GTstreet R, the Clubsport lightweight package is offered by default.

It includes Recaro Podium CF seats with 3D printed cushions, six-point harnesses, a roll cage and a fire extinguisher.

Well, since the car is designed primarily for racing, you can ride in it with the HANS neck and head protection system.
