Ram’s CEO announced the postponement of the launch of the newest 1500 Revolution. What happened at the last moment?

The day before it became known that the American company Ram will present its concept all-electric pickup truck 1500 Revolution at CES 2023, which will open its doors in January next year.

It was initially assumed that the new model will be presented at the ongoing these days SEMA car show in Las Vegas.

However, the day before CEO of the American company Ram Mike Kowal Jr. announced that the presentation was postponed to January next year.

This was done so that the company could show how much the new Revolution is a departure from everything that is in the Ram range at the moment.

After all, SEMA is the standard car show where many companies show their new products, while CES is the number one technology show in the world, where not only car brands but other companies show what they think the future should look like.

However, it is important to clarify that we are talking about a concept version of the model, not a full-fledged production truck, which will not appear until the next 18 months.

The production Ram 1500 Revolution will be a competitor to the Ford F-150 Lightning, which is already on sale, and the Rivian R1T, which is a large-sized truck.

According to preliminary data, the length of the production model will be 5 600 to 6 200 mm.

In addition, it will receive a fairly powerful battery pack with a capacity from 159 to 200 kW / h, which will provide about 800 km range without recharging.

Obviously, Ram is late with an all-electric pickup, so the manufacturer needs to surprise potential buyers with other features that will leave the competition behind.

Company representatives will help do this with features such as range, towing capacity, payload, and fast charging times.
