British Land Rover is preparing a big update for its flagship luxury full-size SUV, the Range Rover 2023 model year, which will make its debut as early as October 26.

All details about the novelty

According to the already revealed official information, the Range Rover 2022 and Sport version, fifth generation will move to a new Modular Longitudinal Architecture, which will involve more aluminum, which will reduce the weight of the body.

The more modern platform will also open up access to the installation of new electrified drivetrains, although it will retain the option to install classic internal combustion engines.

As well as all-electric engines, one of which the British are promising to introduce in the next two years.

Body

Despite the global camouflage, it is easy to see that the new Land Rover Range Rover 2022 model year will remain true to its form factor and signature exterior design with simple straight body lines, rounded corners of the front and protruding rear.

Land Rover officials previously promised that the next-generation 2022 Range Rover crossover would get a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8.

And yet, Europeans will definitely be more interested in PHEV versions, so a variant with a 2.0-liter «turbo four» and two electric motors with a total capacity of 398 hp may stay in service. (639 Nm).

The new Range Rover and fifth-generation Sport version should debut in the second half of 2021.
