Skoda Scala 2023.

Hatchback Skoda Scala is already available in Russia. The final cost of new items is announced.

Another car brand Skoda — Scala hatchback is now available at one of the dealers.

This is reported by the publication Rossiyskaya Gazeta. The car is priced at 2.75 million rubles and is available only in Ambition.

The hatchback has a symbolic mileage of 10 kilometers. This car was imported into the country through parallel importation by one of the dealers.

The published announcement of the sale indicates a power plant of 1.6 liters, which generates 110 «horsepower».

It is combined with a 7-speed DSG «robot». At the same time, despite the fact that we are talking about the European specification of the model, in the EU hatch Skoda Scala 2023 with this engine is not presented.

We assume that we are talking about an internal combustion engine with a working volume of 1 liter. At the heart of the hatchback is a modular architecture MQB-A0, which is a development of Volkswagen.

For reference, the Czech hatchback made its debut in 2018 at an event held in Tel Aviv.

As for the features of the equipment, the list of built-in features of the car has a media system with a 9.2-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit, LTE modem, access to remote control cars with the application installed on your smartphone.

The latter function is implemented due to microchip eSIM. In general, the interior of the hatchback «Skoda Scala» looks minimalistic and at the same time practical.

Recall that earlier it became known about the appearance of another model «Skoda» — crossover «Kamik» for 2.2 million rubles in the Russian market. The car is available in a luxurious Monte Carlo package.

Many Skoda fans still have a question: why is Scala on the market, if Fabia is its enlarged version?

However, Skoda Scala 2023 will get a slight exterior update, which is shown in the photo.

After the Fabia Combi is discontinued, this model should definitely be paid attention to those who want to get a car with good capacity.

In the photo you can see that the Czech brand did not try to hide the headlights of the updated hatchback.

This is because the test prototype has lights from the current generation of the model.

Both front and rear bumpers are hidden, apparently these parts will get small changes. There are sensors on the wheels, signaling that the Scala will get a new list of equipment that needs to be thoroughly tested before the production run.

It’s worth noting that the rear seats have been given more volume to imagine two passengers sitting there.

In the cabin, you can see the duct tape covering the wires that go to the rear compartment. They are particularly noticeable near the rear doors from below.

Obviously, Skoda won’t be making any global changes to the Scala. There is more modern Golf in the C-segment and, apparently, the Czechs do not want to compete with it by improving design.

We want to remind that the hatchback has a special version called Edition S that has got 190 hp engine.

It is more powerful by 40 horsepower and was limited to 500 copies.

This edition also got a stiffer suspension. Don’t expect any hybrids in the Scala either, as Skoda has said that only the Octavia and Superb, which are more popular on the market, will receive this technology.
