A new version of the frame SUV SsangYong Rexton 2022 with a 7-seater interior is out.

Despite years of financial difficulties and the recent loss of a strategic partner, the company SsangYong continues to develop its model range.

But now the manufacturer has decided to release a new version of the frame SUV Rexton, called Black Edition.

The car in this version will be a limited edition release at a price of $47,990.

The new version of the SsangYong Rexton 2022 differs from other modifications mainly by stylistic changes.

The Black Edition variant is based on the top-of-the-line seven-seat Ultimate package.

SUV in this version got new LED lights and two additional shades of body, which are available at no extra charge.

The interior of Korean model by default is equipped with seats trimmed with synthetic leather and front seats with electric heating and cooling.

A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen console with support for mirroring mobile technology screens are also installed as standard.

Along with the new modification Rexton got a leather steering wheel, seats with Nappa trim, inductive gadget charging, 360-degree cameras, a separate climate control unit for the third row, electrically adjustable tailgate and servo sunroof.

About the number of copies of the SUV in the Black Edition, which SsangYong planned to release, the manufacturer said nothing.

Recall that the Rexton in the past and early this year received several updates, which made it more attractive and safer.

Probably for this reason, the demand for Korean model has increased sharply. According to published data, only in Australia sales of the new Rexton for 2021 increased at once by 121%.

South Korean company SsangYong expanded the range of its all-wheel drive SUV SsangYong Rexton 2022 on the Australian market with the new Black Edition.

It is based on the seven-seat version of the Ultimate SUV, but has its own original benefits, including LED fog lights at the front.

The Black Edition Rexton will be available for purchase in Australia from August this year at a price of $56,585 (4.5 million rubles) without additional options.
