Subaru XV 2023.

Subaru has put the updated XV 2023 to the test: it will debut later this year.

A few days ago, foreign automotive media published a set of «spy» photos of the latest road tests of the brand new Subaru XV 2023.

It is reported that the appearance and interior of the car have been adjusted.

In addition, an increase in power of its engines is expected. Official debut of the novelty will take place later this year.

Despite the fact that the test model that fell into the lens of the camera is covered with relatively dense camouflage, we can say that in terms of appearance the new car basically continues the outlines of the current model.

The front end features a hexagonal air intake grille, and the interior honeycomb trim panel shows a range of performance.

The headlight groups on either side can be narrower and longer, and the visual effect is sharper.

The lower front trim also has a flatter design with fog light groups on both sides, adding to the car’s sporty style

The side profile of the car is quite compact. The flat body and high ground clearance create crossover style, and the roof rack and new five-spoke Cyclone wheels further enhance the sporty feel.

The most obvious change to the tail end of the vehicle is that it features a new rear trim.

The bulkier shape visually expands the body, which is generally in keeping with the style of the front end.

The rear light cluster still has the easily recognizable «C» shape of the interior design.

The new car is expected to be powered by a 2.0-liter engine and a 2.0-liter hybrid system, as before.

There are also rumors that the powertrain lineup of the new Subaru XV will be supplemented with a 1.5-liter opposition four-cylinder motor.

Today in Russia the present Subaru XV is offered with only one engine variant — 150 hp petrol 2.0.

Variator is paired with this engine; drive is all-wheel drive. The initial configuration Safety ES crossover is priced at 2,659,000 rubles, the top Premium ES — from 2,829,900 rubles.
