At home, a new all-terrain vehicle is expected this year. The Tank brand will also soon begin to develop the Russian market, that is, this SUV has a chance to reach our country.

A couple of days ago, the Chinese Ministry of Industry once again pleased the automotive media by posting several certificates for future and restyled models.

The Tank 700 frame off-road vehicle also appeared in that batch. And now, either by choice or by plan, the brand itself, owned by the Great Wall concern, has published the first corporate image of a commercial all-terrain vehicle.

Recall that the “seven hundredth” was shown in pre-production form back in 2021. Well, let’s add that the Tank 700 will become the third model of the brand, it will join the Tank 300 and Tank 500.

Externally, the conveyor version as a whole repeated the harbinger, although there are still some changes.

So, the exterior mirrors are now installed on separate massive legs, there is no longer gloss on the wheel arches, and rails appeared on the roof.

Thanks to the Chinese certification body, we also know that the production Tank 700 received a different rear bumper and lights, and the spare tire located on the hinged rear door was moved to the right (the prototype had it in the middle).

In addition, the all-terrain vehicle has lost the exposed twin pipes of the exhaust system (however, it is possible that only the “simple” versions will have hidden pipes).

The Tank 700 is larger than the Tank 500 off-road vehicle.

The length of the older SUV is 5090 mm (with a spare wheel — 5113 mm), width — 2061 mm, height — 1952 mm, wheelbase — 3000 mm.

The dimensions of the «five hundredth»: 4878/1934/1905 mm, the distance between the axles is 2850 mm. For the Tank 700, 20- or 22-inch wheels are announced.

Photo spies have previously looked into the salon, and it is almost the same as the sample two years ago.

The main features are a separate giant display of the multimedia system and a tidy, consisting of three wells in which screens are built.

The engine came from a younger SUV: it is a V6 3.0 petrol engine with combined injection, it produces 360 hp. and 500 Nm.

The engine of the 500 still has a 48-volt starter-alternator — probably, the Tank 700 will also have a makeweight.

Like the Tank 500, the upcoming all-terrain vehicle will have a nine-speed automatic. Of course, Tank models have all-wheel drive.

According to preliminary data, the Tank 700 will start in China in the spring.

The off-road sub-brand Great Wall is also preparing to launch in Russia: we are promised the Tank 300 and Tank 500.

«Seven-hundredth» may also well get to the Russian Federation — after it has mastered the home market.
