At the front, the Corvette got an elaborate bumper with pointed air intakes and a heavily forward-mounted splitter.

Naturally, there are also extended wheel arches. Of the innovations at the rear, a large spoiler and carbon fiber diffuser are worth noting.

And besides the car received 20-inch and 21-inch wheels ADV10F Track Spec Advanced Series in front and rear respectively.

The air suspension was lowered by several millimeters. Of course, in the photos of such a supercar looks spectacular, but because of the low ground clearance its practicality raises a lot of questions.

In terms of technology the modified two-door got a Halltech intake system and exhaust system from Borla, plus tuners installed a safety cage on the car.

History doesn’t say how much the owner paid for such program of modifications.

For the 2022 model year, Chevrolet updated the Corvette, adding three new colors to the body: Hypersonic Gray, Caffeine, and Amplify Orange Tintcoat.

The direct fuel injection system of the 6.2-liter atmospheric V8 has also been updated, and the engine has been calibrated.

It continues to produce 490 hp as standard, but power is increased by 5 hp thanks to a performance exhaust.

The car manufacturer has also updated the Active Fuel Management system, which means the engine can shut off cylinders in a wider rpm range and in lower gears.

As for the special edition Chevrolet Corvette Stingray IMSA GTLM Championship Edition 2022, it will be limited to 1,000 units.

All limited-edition cars will resemble the No. 3 and No. 4 Corvette C8.R race cars.

Each IMSA GTLM Championship Edition is based on the 3LT modification with the Z51 performance package, and each car going to the production line is equipped with Corvette Racing-style graphics packages.

The car is available in Accelerate Yellow with gray graphics and Hypersonic Grey with yellow inserts.

The cockpits of each specimen will be painted Strike Yellow or Sky Cool Grey, which mimic the exterior paint job and graphic packages.

The GT2 seats also come standard with yellow seat belts and a C8.R Special Edition nameplate.

The IMSA GTLM Championship Edition is available as a package for $6,595, or about 476,000 rubles at the current exchange rate.

Prices for the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray start at $62,195 and $69,695 for the convertible.
