Plus this includes all the equipment from the optional Style, Smart Safety and Multimedia packages.

These packages are offered for the Elegance version — the first provides a virtual dashboard, leather interior, diode lights and electric driver’s seat.

Smart Safety» set includes adaptive cruise control, auto brake system and other assistants, and «Multimedia» — is Bose music, multimedia with 10,25-inch screen and navigation, as well as electronic instrument panel and electric driver’s seat drive.

The new 2021 Hyundai Elantra is based on the K3 front-drive platform, which is characterized by the presence of a carrier body and a transverse engine.

According to the developers, this «bogie» is stronger and safer than the previous one. The design of the suspension of the seventh generation is the same as its predecessor.

This means that in front the four-door has McPherson struts, while the rear uses semi-dependent beam. The car has disc brakes all around, which are ventilated on the front axle.

The steering of the sedan has been reconfigured and the center of gravity has become a little lower.

In Russia, the Hyundai Elantra 2021 in the new body is offered with two four-cylinder atmospheric engines, and among the transmissions for the car offered only a six-speed automatic.

The base version is equipped with a familiar from its predecessor 1.6-liter engine with 128 hp and 155 Nm.

It allows the car to accelerate from a place up to a hundred for 11.6 seconds and develop speed up to 195 km/h.

As an alternative, the sedan is available with a new 2.0-liter motor of the SmartStream family. In this version acceleration from 0-100 km/h is possible in 9.9 seconds and maximum speed reaches 203 km/h.

Model Overview

Inside the new Elantra driver and passenger seats have a clear separation from each other.

The seat itself in the front is very good, and the back does not get tired even during long journeys.

Despite of sophisticated design (for example, a steering wheel with an intricate lower part), ergonomics of the sedan is at rather decent level: it is convenient to control both music and settings of the climate control.

The back row in the Hyundai Elantra 2021 is spacious, and the developers provided a convenient armrest with cup holders.

Of disadvantages: only one USB-connector, and there is a pocket only in the back of the front passenger seat.

Even with the base motor the sedan goes quite dynamically (especially if you switch on a sport mode).

Quick starts from a place are not a problem for the car, and overtaking on narrow two-lane roads is also possible.

However for more dynamic driving it is better to take a variant with 2 liters unit. Besides the additional payment for it turns out not so great.

As regards the alternativeless automatic device, it works without serious remarks though is often lazy at sharp accelerations from average speeds.

But the suspension of new Elantra is definitely a success. It is rather dense and rigid here, but at the same time not bumpy, and it means the car goes comfortably on broken asphalt, and at speed it is controlled perfectly.
