Volkswagen Bora 2022.

Russian dealers have started selling Volkswagen Bora sedans for 2.5 million rubles.

Chinese-made Volkswagen Bora sedans have started to appear in Russian dealerships.

In particular, these four-door were spotted in the range of one of the Moscow showrooms VW.

It should be noted that in the summer of the twenty-second in China debuted an updated version of the model, but the first batch of cars imported to Russia completely consisted of the pre-reform cars.

These sedans have 16-inch wheels and LED optics. They have «leather» interior with multimedia touchscreen built into the front panel (the restyled version has it separately).

Other equipment includes climate control, a sunroof, heated side mirrors, front airbags and curtains. Also the dealer reports about a possible installation of an «option».

Sedan VW Bora is built on a modular platform MQB and offered with two power units to choose from.

The base is a 1.5-liter atmospheric engine capacity 113 h.p., and it works with a six-speed automatic. More advanced versions are completed with a 1,4-liter «turbo four» with 150 powers and a robotized gearbox DSG.

By the way, the base unit of the updated model is different — a 1.2-liter turbo, working with the same robot and developing 116 «kobyla» (200 Nm).

The upgrades have been made to the exterior, interior and configuration of the sedan. Volkswagen Bora 2022 has been upgraded with another grille with wider horizontal slats, more sizable headlight surrounds and modified headlight bulbs with chrome trim.

The profile of the car almost the same as its predecessor. The only thing has changed is the wheel rims, which have received a complex, directional pattern.

The dimensions of the sedan are 4.67/1.81/1.47 meters with a wheelbase of 2.68 meters. The headlights also underwent adjustments, which are distinguished by a three-dimensional design.

The chrome trim on the stern bumper has been improved, and the exhaust system is almost invisible. In terms of interior styling, the novelty reminds another model of the brand — Sagitar, which was also modernized.

The interior now uses ambient lighting and a large number of high-quality soft materials. A two-tone scheme with richer hues is used.

For the first time, the Volkswagen Bora sedan uses an LCD instrument panel. The new suspended center control screen follows the Sagitar style.

It has a different interface with large touch buttons. Only the driver’s seat is electrically adjustable. There are two Type-C charging ports in the cabin, as well as a couple of USB ports for charging and sockets for air conditioning.

The 1.5-liter engine has disappeared from the engine range. The basic variant now is the version with a 1.2-liter turbo engine. The more expensive variant has a 1.4-liter engine.

In the first case, the power is 116 hp with a towing torque of 200 Nm. In the second case, the output reaches 150 hp. The maximum torque is 250 Nm.

Transmission has two transmissions to choose from: 5-MCP or 7-speed «robot» with two clutches «dry» type. The chassis has received other settings, so it more effectively works with small irregularities on the roads.

However, with large potholes vibrations are felt in the cabin. The sedan will compete with such models as Nissan Sylphy and Volkswagen Lavida

As for Russian prices, on the site of the mentioned Moscow dealer the pre-reformed Bora with an atmospheric engine is rated at 2 490 000 rubles, and with a turbo — already 2 590 000 rubles. Totally 295 of such four-doors have been delivered to the country.
