Reportedly, the crossover became the first model in a series of future electric cars. Recall that the company previously announced the release of one electric model each year.

Volvo EX90 is a seven-seat crossover, which seats are set in three rows. As we said above, externally it is similar to the XC90.

In the appearance there is felt a little harsh and even aggressive notes. This is largely due to the presence of the corresponding bump lines.

During the presentation there was an emphasis on the fact that the crossover has received the highest level of safety and technology.

At the base of the roof over the windshield there is a special design, which accommodates radars, cameras and sensors.

This provides an all-around view, which makes driving the vehicle much easier.

In addition, the car developed its own software, which also contributes to the rapid analysis of information obtained.

The model is equipped with special equipment for autonomous driving. Volvo EX90 has a battery pack for 111 kWh.

On a single charge the crossover can travel over 480 kilometers. At the initial stage the car will be sold with twin-engine unit, the performance of which corresponds to 496 horsepower and traction equal to 910 N*m.

Volvo EX90 has technology developed together with Snapdragon.

There is Unreal Engine visualization system, Google functionality, 14.5-inch infotainment system, 5G internet connection, remote control, Bowers & Wilkins audio system with speakers embedded in the headrests, and more.

The car can already be booked in the U.S.. However, prices have not yet been disclosed, although it is reported that it will cost in the range of 4.885 million rubles.
Production will start next fall and deliveries will start in 2024.
