Xpeng P7i 2023-2024.

The restyled Xpeng P7i sedan has become more powerful and has received more advanced electronics.

The Chinese introduced the Xpeng P7i electric sedan, which is in fact an upgraded version of the 2019 Xpeng P7 four-door.

The restyled model received a number of solutions from the fresh Xpeng G9 crossover.

In terms of exterior design, the updated model has not changed much, although it received new headlights.

The latter turned out to be somewhat more compact than the previous ones, and the Chinese additionally placed two lidars in the vacant place.

The sedan also had a revised color palette and redesigned wheels.

The interior has new front seats with better lateral support.

Plus, the developers have changed the layout of the central tunnel, which now has a lower tier for small things.

The four-door also received a new two-spoke steering wheel (like the G9). The front panel with large displays located on it has remained the same, although the «stuffing» of the screens themselves has been improved.

In particular, the Snapdragon 8155P chip, which replaced the slower Snapdragon 820A, is now responsible for the performance of devices.

Directly multimedia also received a new shell Xmart OS 4.0 and a more advanced voice control system.

The basic rear-wheel drive version of the Xpeng P7i 2023-2024 turned out to be somewhat more powerful than the pre-reform one: the electric motor put into it now produces 276 hp. (+ 9) and 440 Nm (+ 50).

The all-wheel drive Performance modification with two electric motors has also become more powerful.

The front of them produces 196 hp, and the rear — 276 forces. Their peak performance is 472 «mare» (+ 42) and 757 Nm of torque (+ 102).

From zero to hundreds, the top version of the sedan can now accelerate in 3.9 seconds (-0.6).

By default, pre-reform cars were equipped with lithium-iron-phosphate traction batteries with a capacity of 60.2 kWh, and older modifications were already equipped with lithium-ion ones: for rear-wheel drive vehicles with a capacity of 71-78 kWh, and for all-wheel drive ones — 80.9 kWh.

It is possible that on the restyled model, the battery capacity was further increased.

Separately, I would like to note the second-generation XNGP system laid down for the four-door.

This is an autopilot, the functionality of which the Chinese promise to bring to the third level of autonomy.

The debut of the updated P7i in the Chinese market is expected by the summer of the twenty-third.

Probably, the car will increase in price: now they are asking for P7 from 30,000 US dollars (2.26 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
