The favorite of the Tokyo Motor Show has become known: the new Lexus SUV has amazed everyone with its capabilities.

The leader of the Tokyo Motor Show is the Lexus GX 550 Overtrail SUV.

At the Tokyo Motor Show, which opened on January 12, many interesting new products were presented.

However, one of them especially stands out — this is the Lexus GX 550 Overtrail 2024, developed jointly with Jaos, a company specializing in tuning SUVs, reports the Southern Federal portal.

This car has a beautiful design and powerful parameters; it is capable of overcoming the most difficult obstacles.

To achieve this, the SUV has a number of improvements, such as bumper, underbody and sill protection, a lift, adjustable shock absorbers and special Toyo Tires Open Country A/T III tires, which are not sold in Japan.

The bumper guard is made of high-strength aluminum and has additional LED headlights for better illumination of the road.

The lift allows you to increase ground clearance and improve approach and departure angles.

Adjustable shock absorbers make it possible to change the stiffness of the suspension depending on driving conditions.

And special tires have an aggressive tread pattern that provides excellent grip on any surface.

The Lexus GX 550 Overtrail is the perfect choice for those who love adventure and are not afraid to test their vehicle to its limits.

It was previously reported that Lexus introduced a new crossover with a 300-horsepower engine, but its release is in doubt.

Chairman of the board of the parent company Toyota, Akio Toyoda, personally took part in its development.

We are talking about the Lexus GX 2024 performed by Overtrail JAOS. Employees of the Japanese brand worked on the car together with specialists from the tuning company JAOS.

The main emphasis in this case was on off-road performance. In the new version, it is not afraid of fairly serious off-road conditions.

Lexus GX received an improved suspension lift kit, additional protection for the underbody and sills. In addition, the wheel arches were widened, due to which it was possible to give the appearance more brutal notes.

An expeditionary trunk appeared on the roof. The vehicle’s cross-country ability was improved thanks to a suspension with titanium-reinforced springs and frequency-dependent shock absorbers.

It is equipped with 18-inch wheels with Toyo Tires Open Country A/T III tires.

As for its characteristics, there is no information about this. We can conclude that they remained the same. Let us remind you that in the standard version it is equipped with a 3.4-liter V6 biturbo engine with an output of 354 hp.
