In 2024, AvtoVAZ will release a new family of cars — Lada Iskra. Which was previously called “Lada Granta of the second generation” or “Granta XJO”.

Let us remind you that the Lada Spark 2024 is being developed on the French CMF-B platform, the same as the new Renault Logan. Interestingly, the “new Granta” remained alive even after Renault left the Russian market in 2022.

On the other hand, the XJO project was in its final stages, and preparations for production were already underway. But apparently, AvtoVAZ is now actively looking for replacements for many components.

After production of the Chrysler 300 sedan ended at the end of last year, only the Pacifica minivan remained in the lineup of the once prestigious American brand.

Chrysler’s revival will begin in 2025 with the debut of a mid-size electric crossover on the STLA Large platform, then the radically updated Pacifica will enter the market, and then other new products will join the range, and not necessarily electric ones.

Last year, Chrysler’s U.S. sales totaled 133,729 vehicles, up 19% from 2022 sales, according to Stellantis’ official report.

Organizations that have entered into a Jetour car leasing agreement with Europlan until February 29, 2024, as part of a special offer, receive the right to early purchase of the car with a benefit of up to 18%.

The Ford plant in the German city of Saarlouis will stop assembling the fourth generation Focus at the end of autumn 2025; it will not have a successor; the future of the plant still remains vague.

In the summer of 2022, we already reported that the Ford Focus will leave the European market in 2025.

Now the specific date for the cessation of production has become known — November 30, 2025, it was announced by the German trade union IG Metall, which also oversees the employees of the Ford plant in Saarlouis.

Apart from the Focus in hatchback and station wagon bodies, this plant today produces nothing else.

Operating since 1966, the Saarlouis plant was no longer needed by Ford due to the optimization of the model line in Europe and the intention to completely switch to electric vehicles in the old-world market by 2030.
