The updated DS 7 for Emmanuel Macron: not the most powerful, but the longest.

The current French president has already received the third version of the DS 7 crossover, it is called Elysee, has an armored body, wheelbase increased by 200 mm and a special decor.

In April this year, Emmanuel Macron became president of France for the second time, the inauguration took place in May.

Exactly five years ago, in May 2017, Macron drove around Paris on the same occasion in a then very fresh DS 7 Crossback crossover in the special Presidentiel version.

Its main difference from the stock car was the sliding fabric roof — it allowed Macron to stand in the crossover at full height during the ride and greet citizens.

Last November, the Stellantis corporation gave the French president a much more seriously redesigned DS 7 Crossback Elysee, elongated and with an armored body, but the original model underwent a restyling in June.

It’s official: the launch of Bentley’s first electric car has been postponed until 2026.

Bentley is now seeking to develop and produce its first all-electric car.

About $3 billion has been invested in the project. Development and future production will take place in the UK.

Initially, the official launch of the car was scheduled for 2025, but the company’s CEO said that the event has been postponed to 2026.

The head of the brand said the delay will be a few months, not a full year.

Surprisingly, this event has nothing to do with the fact that the Volkswagen Group is currently experiencing problems with the supply of necessary software for its future electric models.

The new car has an exclusive paint job and is equipped with a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine.

The new CT4-V Blackwing has an exclusive Mondrian logo, showing its distinctive personality.

The front end features a black shield-shaped grille, while the headlights with a Y-shaped design on both sides add to the exterior’s grace and beauty.

The side of the new car is decorated with exclusive stickers, showing its unique charm, and the black carbon fiber trim added to the underbody looks more dynamic.

Mansory studio introduced a modified version of the luxury sedan Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (Z223), and two versions of the model were subjected to tuning at once — S580 and S680.

German studio did not make radical changes in the appearance of representative four-doors, but installed a number of carbon fiber components.

These include different air intakes, front lip, side sills, as well as spoilers on the roof and trunk lid.

Plus the rear diffuser was made of carbon fiber, and the latter can be ordered with or without a central brake light.

All these elements only emphasize the elegant design of the car. The new wheels were put on 22-inch multi-spoke rollers, which come with tires size 265/30 and 305/25 in front and rear respectively.

The people’s solar car Sono Sion has been shown in production form. They promised not to raise the price.

German electric car startup Sono Motors has presented the final design of a five-seat electric compact car Sion with solar charging capability.

Its production will start in the second half of 2023 at the Finnish plant Valmet.

Sono Motors has been developing its people’s solar car Sion since 2016, the serial production was planned to start in 2019, but due to lack of funding, the COVID-19 pandemic and a change of production partner, the launch date has been postponed several times.

The Sono Sion is called a people’s car because of its relatively low price (from 25,126 euros in Germany) and because money for its development was raised through crowdfunding, among other means.

Yesterday, Sono Motors unveiled the final design of the Sion. It features slightly more angular body proportions, new headlights, lights, bumpers, sills, door handles and a charging hatch.
