Voyah i-LAND is a luxury Gran turismo from China designed by Italdesign.
Chinese Dongfeng has unveiled its new Voyah concept car at the Beijing Auto Show. The impressive i-LAND was created in collaboration with Italian design studio Italdesign and heralds the company’s ambitious plans for the luxury electric vehicle segment.

As a reminder, Dongfeng is the company that is currently an accomplice of the PSA concern (it owns 13.68 percent, it also operates a joint venture with Nissan, Renault and Honda), but also develops a portfolio of its own brands.

Italdesign, on the other hand, is a stylistic studio founded in 1968 by Giorgetto Giugiaro. He has projects such cars as VW Golf and Passat B1, BMW M1, DeLorean DMC 12 and Fiat Uno. The company is currently part of the Volkswagen Group, but provides services to various manufacturers, not just the automotive industry.

The Voyah i-LAND is a concept luxury gran turismo whose body, cockpit, control interfaces and visual identity, including a winged badge, were designed by Italdesign. The Italians are also responsible for creating the very conceptual example.

Voyah Free: premium crossover from Dongfeng concern The premium brand Voyah of the Chinese concern Dongfeng has unveiled its first production model — the full-size crossover Voyah Free.

The premiere of the novelty took place in mid-December of the twentieth year at a special event in China.

For the appearance of Voyah Free 2021, specialists from the Italian design studio Italdesign were responsible. Thanks to their efforts, the crossover received noble body proportions with a swift roofline.

At the front, the car has a «toothy» radiator grille and a graceful bumper with large air intakes, and at the back it is notable for a narrow strip of lights.

The sleek silhouette with retractable door handles contributes to a low drag coefficient of just 0.28. The salon of the car is five-seater, with a rich level of equipment.

The front panel houses three monitors at once. There is also a head-up display and the function of updating the multimedia system «over the air».

It is powered by the hurricane Hemi V8 6.2 compressor engine, producing an incredible 712 hp. and 881 Nm of thrust. Even the top-end Ford F-150 Raptor cannot offer any more — the V6 3.5 Ecoboost biturbo engine generates only 462 hp. and 690 Nm.

In the United States, the new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX with a double cab is priced at a minimum of $ 71,690, or 5.3 million rubles. First, however, the Launch Edition welcomes the series, featuring a rich package and an exclusive Anvil Gray exterior.

German automaker Volkswagen has unveiled its first electric crossover, the ID.4. The novelty is created on the new modular platform MEB and has one of the lowest drag coefficients in the class equal to 0.28.

The interior of the electric vehicle is equipped with a floating touchscreen display of the multimedia complex and a digital instrument panel.

External design and dimensions

The body of the new Volkswagen ID.4 2021 is designed in the same style as the ID.3 hatchback. At the front, the classic radiator grille is absent, so the company logo is placed in the center of the strip connecting the headlights.
