Suzuki Baleno 2023.

Suzuki Baleno, running on natural gas, will get a top configuration for 756,000 rubles.

Maruti Suzuki has recently presented Baleno 2023 that runs on natural gas.

For now, the car is available only in two kits: Delta and Zeta. But very soon, the manufacturer will add top modification Alpha for this model.

It is expected to cost 95,000 rupees or 70.6 thousand rubles more than the previous two versions. This means that its price will be about 756,000 rubles.

The Baleno hatchback is powered by a 1.2-liter four-cylinder K12N engine.

In CNG mode, it develops 77.5 hp of power with 98.5 N*m of torque, and in gasoline mode — 90 hp.

In the trunk of the model running on gas, there is a 55-liter tank, due to which its capacity will be much less than the standard version of the car.

As with other CNG modifications from Maruti Suzuki, the Baleno CNG comes exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Since the new modification Alpha is a top hatchback, the car will be offered with all the equipment available for the gasoline analogues.

In particular, the model will be equipped with a multimedia complex with a 9.0-inch touchpad and SmartPlay Pro+ system, projection display, 360-degree view cameras, connected Suzuki Connect car technology with OTA updates, six airbags, IRVM automatic dimming, keyless entry and Arkamys audio system.

The gas-powered Baleno will also be the basis for the Toyota Glanza CNG.

This model will be one of the main competitors of the hatchback on the Indian market. In addition, the car will compete with the Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20 and Honda Jazz.

That said, these three models are not offered with factory-installed gas equipment.

In addition, Maruti Suzuki is currently working on a new version of the Brezza compact crossover.

It will also get a CNG kit. This new model is expected to be the first compressed natural gas-powered model to be offered with an automatic transmission.
