Hyundai Venue 2022.

Hyundai has brought out an updated Venue crossover for tests.

The Korean parkcar has finally shed its overlay panels, which distorted its silhouette.

Up until now test prototypes of the updated crossover Hyundai Venue wore false panels.

Such spy photos gave little information: even proportions of the car were not correctly read. Now the new parkette reveals previously hidden details.

Fresh series of pictures from road tests show that after the update Venue got redesigned bumpers, new lighting equipment, slightly toughened grille and plastic body kit around the perimeter.

The restyled crossover will firstly get the home market of the brand and the United States. Here, the pre-reform Parkett either was not presented, or was not in demand at all.

This model was originally created with an eye on the Indian car market, where this crossover demonstrates excellent sales.

This year, the car has already managed to disperse circulation of 82,000 copies. And after restyling, Hyundai Venue will offer a buyer an expanded list of driver’s aides, multimedia with up to 10-inch touchscreen, virtual dashboard and other.

Under a hood of the crossover there is a gasoline engine for 1.6 liters with giving out 123 hp. In conjunction with it works transmission, AT or variator.

The Hyundai Venue, which prior to the Casper model was the most compact «parkette» in the brand’s lineup, debuted in 2019, and will be presented next year in a restyled version.

Cars in camouflage have already been out for test drives.

The photos published by Rushline show that the crossover’s «face» will change: it will get a two-tiered configuration with narrow strips of LED running lights and main block headlights under them, a redesigned bumper and grille.

The rear will also undergo changes, and the crossover will get lights in the style of the new Opel Mokka.

The Hyundai Venue is expected to expand its equipment list, which may include a fully digital dashboard and multimedia with a larger screen diagonal (currently an 8-inch touchscreen is installed).

The powertrain lineup will remain the same. It includes an atmospheric petrol engine 1.2 liter capacity of 82 hp paired with 5-speed manual transmission, 115-horsepower diesel, working together with 6-speed «manual» or «automatic», a liter turbo with output of 118 hp, which can be chosen as an automatic transmission, and with the preselective «robot».

Prices for the Hyundai Venue in India start at 699,200 rupees (approximately 683,000 rubles).
