The Japanese unveiled the new Subaru Impreza 6th generation in Los Angeles.

Premiere of the sixth generation Subaru Impreza took place at the auto show in Los Angeles 2022. Local public got acquainted with the model in the form of a five-door hatchback.

The car turned out to be much like the previously shown Subaru Crosstrek: it differs from it only by exterior cladding and suspension design.

The sixth Impreza has LED headlights already in base and its shape has become more aggressive with the change of generations.

The rear lights are new too — with a noticeable C-shaped design. The car also draws attention with a frameless grille and sculpted front bumper, in the side sections of which there are fog lamps.

Depending on the configuration, its round arches can be equipped with 16-18-inch rims.

The interior of the presented five-door in many respects repeats that of the models Levorg and WRX, but the virtual dashboard is not given to a novelty (even for extra charge).

Alpha Montage 2023.

A very expensive toy: a retro Alpha Montage coupe without a motor for $499,000.

U.S. electric car startup Alpha Motor Corporation continues to shock the public with non-standard forms of business: the company, which has not yet released a single car, but has already announced more than ten novelties, this week offered everyone to apply for a very strange Montage coupe for crazy money and with an unclear purpose.

Alpha Motor Corporation, a startup headquartered in Irvine, California, USA, first went public in late 2020 with the announcement of the Ace compact electric coupe and a promising family of multi-car commercial vehicles.

Since then, the concept of the startup has changed, commercial vehicles are no longer in question, but the company has presented a virtual full model range and each model is designed in a retro style.

The founder of the startup is an Asian-American designer Edward Lee, who previously worked at Lexus and Audi — he is the author of the distinctive style of the future Alpha electric cars.

Sources of its funding Alpha Motor Corporation does not disclose, but last summer the company’s website has appeared a section for investors, which indirectly indicates that there are some problems with money.

Tank 300 2023.

Details about the Chinese Tank 300 SUV: it will soon appear in Russia.

Great Wall presented the Tank 300 SUV at the Chengdu Motor Show in July of the twentieth year.

Soon the model appeared on the domestic market, and the automaker immediately made it clear that the vehicle will be presented in other countries.

Back in the summer of the twenty-first Chinese cross-country vehicle patented in Russia, and later it became known that the start of sales in our market is scheduled for the beginning of 2023, the official package and prices will be announced soon.

As befits the name, the Tank 300 has a brutal and rather angular exterior design, and the developers are positioning it as a Chinese analogue of the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler.

The proportions of the car body are deliberately old-fashioned, with unpainted bumpers in the front and rear.

The slightly rounded square arches, located on the legs of the mirror housing and the fifth door with the spare tire located on it also contribute to creation of off-road look.

The whole lighting equipment of the new Tank 300 has LED «stuffing», but is made in retro-style: the car will have round headlights and rectangular taillights.

The fastest Rimac Nevera 2022.

The fastest Rimac Nevera 2022. The Rimac Nevera has become the world’s fastest production electric car, but there is a nuance.

Miro Zrncevic, test driver and head of testing at Croatian company Rimac, accelerated the 1,914-horsepower electric supercar Nevera to its nameplate top speed of 412 km/h.

The Rimac Nevera debuted last summer and has become one of the most powerful on-road production passenger cars: its four-engine powertrain produces a maximum 1914 hp and 2360 Nm.

There are even more powerful supercars in the world, the Lotus Evija has the most «horses» — 2039, but the top speed of the «Briton» is limited at 350 km/h.

The Nevera is ready to accelerate to 352 km/h in standby mode, i.e. at the first request of its owner, but the real «maximum speed» — 412 km/h — is reached only at special events under the supervision of Rimac specialists, provided that the weather is good and all necessary safety measures are observed.

It was under such conditions that the maximum speed at the wheel of the Nevera was achieved by test driver Miro Zrnčevič, the races took place on the ATP (Automotive Testing Papenburg) high-speed circuit in the German city of Papenburg (Lower Saxony).
