Audi Q8 2024. Information has appeared on the Internet about the start of sales of the updated Audi Q8 and SQ8 crossovers: their characteristics are known.

Audi has announced the start date for sales of the updated Q8 and SQ8 crossovers.

The 2024 Audi Q8 and SQ8 shown at the Geneva Motor Show are preparing to start sales.

Crossovers will appear in dealerships in the near future, but they will be available for purchase no earlier than the first quarter of next year.

More exact dates will be announced later. There is no information yet about trim levels and prices. These data will most likely be known closer to the start date of car sales.

But now there is information about the equipment and characteristics of crossovers.

It is worth noting that during the modernization process, the developers refused to make fundamental changes to the design of the Audi Q8 and SQ8, although there are some innovations in their appearance.

Thus, the cars received a different radiator grille format and optics adjusted in shape.

In the latter case, the headlights received an L-shaped design.

The air intakes have acquired a sportier look, as have the wheels. There are innovations in the design of the rear diffuser and spoiler.

As for the interior, changes have affected the trim of the seats and other interior parts.

There are also innovations in the available list of options. Crossovers have become more technologically advanced and more comfortable to drive.

The Audi Q8 is equipped with a three-liter engine producing 335 horsepower, while the SQ8 is available with a four-liter unit producing 500 horsepower.

Audi has improved the Q8 crossover and SQ8 cross-coupe. Both models entered the 2024 model year with a number of improvements: new colors in the palette, updated wheel designs and some cosmetic changes to the interior.

In addition, both crossovers have acquired a radiator grille with a new design made up of octagonal elements, and a pair of massive air intakes in the front bumper.

And the list of equipment includes matrix headlights with laser high beam.

The Q8 and SQ8 have new personalization options — for example, in the media system menu you can select one of four “light signatures” of matrix headlights.

The function only works with the optional HD Matrix LED optics, equipped with 24 intelligently controlled LEDs and a laser high beam module.

Also for the first time, OLED lights are offered for the Q8 — also for an additional fee.

They have a built-in proximity sensor and begin to glow brighter when another car approaches closer than two meters.

The Q8’s exterior paint palette includes three new metallic colors from Audi Sport: Chili Red, Ascari Blue and Sakhir Gold.

The design of the wheels has also changed (five options in total), which are available in sizes from 21 to 23 inches. Decorative inserts and several new upholstery options have appeared in the cabin.

In Europe, the 2024 Audi Q8 will be available in 55 TFSI with a 3.0-liter petrol engine and 45 TDI with a diesel engine of the same displacement. The SQ8, in turn, is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 with the function of turning off half of the cylinders.

Like the regular Q8, the SQ8 will be offered with permanent Quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox.

Both new products will be available for order in Europe later this month, prices have already been announced: 45 TDI will cost 86,700 euros (9 million rubles at today’s exchange rate), 50 TDI — 89,700 euros (9.38 million rubles), 55 TFSI — 89,900 euros (9.4 million rubles), and SQ8 — 119,500 euros (12.5 million rubles).

The updated Q8 and SQ8 can only get to Russia through parallel imports.
