Apparently, for this reason, the manufacturer has prepared a new, cheaper modification of the car, which will be released in early summer.

According to published information, the equivalent of 1.57 million rubles will be requested for this version.

The car will retain the old hybrid. The price reduction is due to the appearance of a new 18.99-kilowatt battery, which allows you to drive up to 100 kilometers with the engine turned off.

More expensive versions overcome electric traction up to 200 kilometers.

Shenlan SL03 2023 is built on the EPA1 universal modular platform and, in terms of chassis elements, is largely unified with the Changan Uni-V liftback.

In length, the model reaches 4,820 mm, while having a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. Its width and height are 1,890 and 1,480 mm, respectively.

The Chinese liftback will debut on the market as a full-fledged electric car, and buyers will be offered a choice of two versions equipped with a single electric motor on the rear axle.

The base one has a power of 218 hp. and a 58 kWh traction battery that provides a range of 515 km (according to the Chinese CLTC cycle).

On a more advanced modification, the motor already produces 258 forces, and the battery is installed with a capacity of 78 kWh. Such a car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h in 5.9 seconds and driving up to 712 km without recharging.

In the future, we should expect the appearance of a sequential hybrid. He will also receive a 258-horsepower electric motor, which will be accompanied by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine for 95 “mares”.

The latter will be used exclusively to recharge the 30 kWh traction battery. The range of such a modification will be about 1,200 km.

And the liftback will also have a hydrogen version, but there is little information about it. It is reported that she will receive a Chinese-made electrochemical generator and will be able to drive up to 700 km.
