Chevrolet Equinox EV 2024.

The updated Chevrolet Equinox EV 2024 is officially presented: sales start dates and approximate prices for the crossover have already been announced.

The first month of autumn was rich in new items. One of them was the Chevrolet Equinox EV 2024.

The crossover will reportedly go on sale in the third quarter of next year. Despite this, there is already enough detailed information about the equipment and characteristics of the model.

They even named approximate prices for cross-country. So, in the basic version of the 1LT, the car will cost about 1.824 million rubles.

True, at the initial stage, the crossover can only be purchased in the 2RS version.

As for the technical equipment, two options for «bundles» will be offered. So, the Chevrolet Equinox EV in combination with an electric motor and front-wheel drive has a performance of 210 horsepower.

In a variation with an all-wheel drive system, the power plant power is higher — 290 hp. The crossover uses General Motors Ultium battery packs.

By the way, the batteries will also be available in two options, but their capacities have not yet been disclosed. But there are other options. In particular, the modules support charging at 11.5 and 19.2 kW.

The Chevrolet Equinox EV has several rather serious differences from the version with a standard internal combustion engine.

So, the crossover in this version is wider by 70 mm and lower by 25.4 mm. The rest of the dimensions are similar.

It is worth noting the spacious luggage compartment. With the rear seats folded down, the car can hold up to 1,614 liters of cargo.

It will be possible to distinguish the available versions by some visual characteristics.

In the top version, the front bumper has a dark trim that imitates the grille, while in the basic versions it is made in body color.

Technology prevails in the cabin. For initial versions, an 11-inch dashboard and multimedia, a security package, a parking assistance system, and an emergency braking module are offered.

The seats and steering wheel are heated. In the following modifications, adaptive cruise control, a 17.7-inch multimedia complex, and Super Cruise control assistance are available.

In the top versions, rims are set to 21 inches, while in the initial versions they are offered in 19 and 20 inches.
