Experts expect that he can get a 1.5-liter turbocharged unit with a return of 160 «horses».

There are practically no details about how Creta will change with the update, but the Indian media write that the changes may turn out to be global.

It is assumed that the crossover will get a number of solutions recently presented in the project for a new generation of Verna sedan (aka Solaris or Accent).

We are talking about headlights located under the LED strip of daytime running lights, as well as broken sidewalls and lamps of complex shape.

In the interior of the crossover, a new display design scheme will be implemented, which in the new Verna / Solaris / Accent could boast of the screens of the digital instrument cluster and multimedia system combined into a common cluster.

Changes will not bypass the technical side of the model. Under the hood of the updated Creta, a new one and a half liter petrol turbo engine, which recently debuted in the company’s budget sedan, should appear.

Its power is 160 horsepower, and the maximum torque is 253 Nm.

As for the rest of the units, which include both gasoline and diesel engines, they will remain in service, but will survive some modernization.
