The Lotus Emeya liftback has become the brand’s second electric model.

The first electric car from Lotus was the Eletre crossover, and now it is accompanied by the Emeya battery liftback, and the latter is positioned by the British as the flagship EV model.

Stylistically, the new product largely repeats the mentioned all-terrain vehicle.

It has similar outlines of the optics and plastic of the front bumper. Plus, it also comes with two-tone exterior paint.

At the same time, the presented liftback has a much more prominent hood. Plus it has a range of active aerodynamic components. These include a radiator grille, a rear spoiler and a rear diffuser.

The model has a four-seater interior. There are three displays installed on the front panel. Two small screens are located opposite the driver and front passenger.

Moreover, between them there is a large central touchscreen. The latter resembles the multimedia screen of Tesla electric cars.

The company does not advertise its diagonal, but it is probably 15.1″ (like a crossover).

There is also a large projection display, the diagonal of which visually reaches as much as 55 inches.

Among other equipment, it is worth noting the KEF acoustics, which have an active noise reduction function in its arsenal.

The interior of the liftback is trimmed with nappa leather and Alcantara. Aluminum decor is also available. It couldn’t be done without eco-materials either.

For example, the finishing allegedly uses fabric made from recycled plastic and a special coating made from cotton waste from the clothing industry.

Lotus Emeya 2024 has a twin-engine power plant with a total power of 918 hp. (958 Nm).

Thanks to this, the all-wheel drive liftback is able to “shoot” from zero to hundreds in 2.78 seconds. Its maximum speed reaches 256 km/h.

It is known that the electric car is equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of 102 kWh, but its range has not yet been specified.

But it is known that in 5 minutes at a “fast” station the battery charge can be replenished for 150 km.

Well, the battery can supposedly be charged to 80% in 18 minutes, but this will require a 350 kW station.

The liftback has an air suspension, the design of which uses adaptive shock absorbers with sensors.

The latter are capable of reading road conditions up to 1,000 times per second.

The Lotus Emea series will be launched in the twenty-fourth.

The model will be assembled by a Chinese company owned by Geely. By the way, the same crossover Eletre is made at its facilities.
