New Peugeot 3008 2024.

The new Peugeot 3008 has become a coupe-shaped crossover: the appearance of the model is no longer a secret.

The official premiere of the new third-generation Peugeot 3008 will take place on September 12, 23, but recently photos of the new SUV leaked online.

The quality of these images left much to be desired, but Peugeot came to the rescue and independently published the same pictures, but in much better (official) quality.

One way or another, the photographs presented give a complete picture of the appearance of the model, which, with the change of generations, again changed its form factor.

If the second generation of “3008” was a full-fledged crossover, now it is already a cross-coupe, which in profile attracts attention with its strongly inclined rear window.

According to the developers, such changes are primarily due to aerodynamics, and not the desire to keep up with fashion.

The new product with a sloping roof clearly has a much more streamlined body than its predecessor.

Considering that the model range will include full-fledged electric cars, this is very important.

Unfortunately, the French have not yet said anything about the latter. And in general, the technical characteristics of the model are still kept secret.

It is known that the Peugeot 3008 2024 is based on the STLA Medium modular platform.

The latter is a modernized version of the EMP2 “trolley”, specially adapted for electric versions.

There will be three battery modifications in the range of the coupe-like SUV, and they will differ from each other not only in traction batteries, but also in motors.

One of the versions will definitely be all-wheel drive (dual-engine). It is also known that the longest-range version will be able to travel up to 700 km without recharging.

The SUV will also have hybrid versions. The initial one will receive a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine with a 48-volt electric motor and a traction battery with a capacity of 0.9 kWh.

A more powerful option will be a rechargeable hybrid. A 1.6-liter turbo-four and a 21 kWh battery are announced for it.

But the new SUV will not have diesel engines. And the French also abandoned the use of a manual transmission.

The new Peugeot 3008 will enter the assembly line of the French plant in Sochaux, where its official presentation will be held.

The appearance of the SUV on the market is expected in the spring of twenty-four.
