The Germans presented the completely new Mercedes-Benz E-Class W214.

At the end of April twenty-third, the Germans presented the completely new Mercedes E-Class 2024 in the body with the W214 index.

This is already the sixth generation of the Eshka, which is now available only in sedan and station wagon versions, including all-terrain, but there will no longer be a coupe or convertible.

From the outside, the car has noticeably changed, receiving a completely new front and rear design, and in profile the Mercedes E-Class W214 now resembles the flagship S-Class W223, but in a slightly reduced size.

But the interior has undergone a complete overhaul, but first things first.

At the front, the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class received an enlarged radiator grille (optional with backlighting) with a thick chrome trim.

The model is offered in two variants: the “Classic” version has a more traditional grille pattern with three horizontal ribs and a signature star on the hood.

The Progressive version offers a grille with a large emblem on it and a single rib in the center, and also decorated with dozens of tiny stars.

The head optics on the car are distinguished by their unusual shape with slight curves in the lower part, evoking associations with the previous “four-eyed” “yes”.

Here the electronic instrument panel is in the form of a free-standing 12.3-inch screen without a visor, and the entire center console is occupied by a huge 14.4-inch multimedia system display.

An optional third monitor (12.3″) is located in front of the front passenger.

To the right of the tidy, the front panel along the top is surrounded by air ducts of the ventilation system, contoured suspension is widely used in the design, two steering wheel options are offered for the car, high-quality materials are used in the decoration and in general everything looks quite expensive and solid.

In addition, the company reports that the interior of the Mercedes E-Class 2024 has become more spacious compared to its predecessor.

The stretched wheelbase has made it possible to increase the free space for the knees and feet of rear passengers by 10 and 17 mm, respectively, and the elbow room has become more spacious by an additional 25 mm, which is comparable to the older S-Class sedan.

The front panel is called MBUX Superscreen (a more advanced version on electric models with a solid glass surface across the entire width of the cabin is called Hyperscreen).

The modernized media system comes with contrasting icons and a different menu structure.

The track at the front and rear has been slightly widened to 1,634 mm at the front and 1,648 at the rear, respectively. Trunk volume is from 370 (on hybrids) to 540 liters, ground clearance (clearance) has not yet been specified.

The production of cars will be established at a plant in Sindelfingen, Germany. The start of sales of the new Mercedes E-Class W214 on the European market is scheduled for the summer of twenty-three.

There is no information on prices yet, but the model will clearly be more expensive than its predecessor, for which in Germany they are asking from 51,300 euros.
