The other day we told you that Rolls-Royce brand, possibly, is preparing Shooting Brake based on Wraith coupe — a camouflaged car with such body was shot on the road.

The truth did not keep waiting long, the manufacturer of «shed» was found, it turned out famous bodybuilding atelier Carat Duchatelet from Belgium.

Of course, it would be cooler if the company Rolls-Royce itself had the courage to release Shooting Brake, and in a crossover version, as predicted by independent Berlin designer Wagen Volk from Berlin, but the product of Carat Duchatelet is also something to surprise — the car turned out very elegant.

The 2022 Toyota Yaris Cross is one of the newest models from the Japanese company. This car hit the market in 2020 and has already managed to gain fans.

The parkette is currently on sale exclusively in Japan in four configurations at a price of 1,798,000 to 2,815,000 yen (approximately 1.2 — 2 million rubles).

There are two one and a half-liter engines in the car’s engine range, one of which is equipped with a hybrid system. A variator is used as the transmission.

The drive can be either front or all-wheel drive. The main competitors of the model can include the Nissan Juke, Ford Puma, Peugeot 2008 and Renault Kaptur.

The car is distinguished by a peculiar appearance with a clear bias towards sporty style.

But in general, this model, like any «Japanese», can boast reliability and unpretentiousness. Both original bodykits and tuning kits from atelier Tom’S are available.

Previously, the model has been out of production for quite a long time due to production problems. Now the American brand is preparing its minivan for the 2022 model year.

Chrysler brand now belongs to auto giant Stellantis, which was formed earlier this year as a result of a merger between FCA and PSA Group.

The brand has had a continuous «minus» in its home market since 2016. At the end of «covid» 2020, dealers sold 110,464 cars in the U.S., which is 13% less than the year before.

For comparison, customers bought 324,846 units during 2015, and the top year for the brand remains 2005 (almost 650,000 cars were sold).

This year, the market is recovering from the crisis, so the brand is «plus»: 58,637 cars were sold in the first half, which is 33.3% more than in January-June 2020.
