SsangYong Actyon 2020: bright SUV with decent features
The Korean brand SsangYong is not particularly popular all over the world, but this does not mean that its crossovers are bad. The model of this brand looks quite interesting and modern, has a solid, practical interior and very reliable power units. The upcoming restyling is designed to make the car even better. SsangYong Actyon 2020 noticeably freshens externally and becomes more comfortable from the inside. The modernization will affect the pickup called Aktion Sport. At the same time, buyers will receive more useful features for about the same money as before.

Exterior

The greatest number of differences between the new body and what it was before is concentrated in the front. The muzzle is located noticeably higher, while it has become wider and longer. On the sloping hood, judging by the photo, you can find an abundance of longitudinal stripes protruding and going deeper into the body. Then there are large rectangles of headlights with a halogen filling, which, however, illuminate the space in front of the car pretty well.

Between the optics, there is a large trapezoid of the radiator grille with a thin, black frame. The grid pattern is quite large and it seems to bring a glance to the bright nameplate of the company, located in the center.
The lower part of the face of SsangYong Actyon 2020 turned out to be no less bright and replete with various elements. In the center there was a place for another large air intake in the form of a trapezoid, while smaller slots were placed on the edges, in which round fog lights were built. The underbody can be reinforced with an additional thin layer of unpainted plastic.

In profile, the car looks just as interesting. A striking glass stripe with racks of medium thickness, attractive exterior mirrors, which are now equipped with turn signal repeaters in any configuration, convex wheel arches and the same plastic layer at the bottom are striking.

The feed of the car looks very original. It starts with a large, visibly tilted visor, into which the brake lights are integrated. In the middle of the height there is a large polygonal dimensional optics, slightly extending to the hind wings. The bumper came out small, but contains a bright insert made of plastic and metal with a cut under the false pipe of the exhaust system.

Interior

The car interior has become a little more convenient and prettier. Of the finishing materials of the new Sang Yong Aktion 2020 model year, it is worth noting artificial leather, plastic with wood-like inserts, fabrics and metal. The entertainment system has become a little better, the additional options of which will not let you get bored on a long journey.

Bodies of control and management

The dashboard does not look very nice, but pretty neat. Most of the elements here turned out to be small: the multimedia screen, as well as several blocks with buttons and washers, look more than modest. But the air ducts of the new model turned out to be huge, and they are located on the edges of the console: where they are not really needed. Of course, in the car there are slots for connecting third-party gadgets.
The tunnel of the car is decorated without unnecessary frills, and the size does not shine. In addition to the technical unit, along with a gear shift knob, a modest cup holder, a small organizer and an armrest, on which both the driver and the passenger can comfortably position their hands. In addition, in the bowels of this element hides a fairly capacious glove box.

Something good cannot be said about the steering wheel. Inexpensive leatherette trim quickly wears out, and the steering-wheel is decorated only with simple metal plates. Of course, here you can find a small number of buttons, but you can configure with their help only the most basic options. But the tidy looks very bright and includes a tachometer, speedometer and a small on-board computer right in the center, and in the dark it is all beautifully highlighted in various colors.

Seats and trunk

Even the most demanding motorist will like seats. First of all — the front row seats, which got a comfortable shape, nice finish and a rather soft filler. Of the options here you can detect heating, as well as tuning by means of electric drives or mechanics. The second row of useful functions is less, but its main advantage is that it can easily accommodate three adult men. The functionality is represented by an adjustable backrest, as well as heating, but for an extra charge.

The car is perfect as a family car. Even without folding or removing anything, you can count on a useful boot volume of 550 liters. If you add up the second row, then, as the test drive shows, it will include 2.5 times more cargo.

Specifications

At first, only “classic” gasoline and diesel engines will be placed under the hood of Sang Yong Aktion 2020, but later on, manufacturers promise electric options. A gasoline unit equipped with a turbine, with a volume of one and a half liters, shows 163 forces. Characteristics of a turbodiesel are a bit more modest: a volume of 1.6 liters, but 136 “horses”.

Both engines can be paired with a six-speed manual or automatic machine for the same number of modes, but four-wheel drive will be available exclusively for the latter. Cars with a “handle” will be content only with the front.

Options and prices

The price of a car at home in Korea will exceed 22 million won, which, in terms of rubles, will be approximately 1.3 million. The most expensive equipment will cost 550-600 thousand units of Russian currency more.
