Neta GT 2024.

In the Celestial Empire presented a stylish electric coupe Neta GT.

Chinese firm Hozon Auto has unveiled the Neta GT electric two-door coupe.

The novelty has an athletic exterior design and is primarily notable for the unusual design of the head optics.

The headlight blocks of the model are in the form of boomerangs and go far to the front fenders. And the muscular hood with a pair of spectacular inserts catches the eye.

The car has frameless doors and is based on 19-inch wheels. Its interior is characterized by the presence of a virtual tidy and a huge 17.6-inch display of the multimedia system.

The transmission control of the coupe is carried out from the right steering column lever. On the doors there are touch buttons for controlling the power windows.

The coupe interior is designed for four people, but the second row does not shine with comport (for example, there are no head restraints here). At the same time, the list of equipment includes dual-zone climate control, a panoramic roof and electric front seats.

The Neta GT 2024 coupe is built on the platform of the Neta S sedan. Therefore, it has a double-lever suspension in front, but a multi-link is used in the rear.

Compared to the four-door, the wheelbase of the presented model has been reduced to 2,770 mm (-210).

It is 4,715 mm long, 1,979 mm wide and 1,415 mm high. Trunk volume is not advertised, but a small additional compartment is provided in front.

Two modifications have been prepared for the electric coupe. The base has a rear-wheel drive and is equipped with a single 231 hp electric motor.

The traction battery here has a capacity of 74.5 kWh. In curb condition, such a two-door weighs 2,120 kg and is capable of driving up to 560 km without recharging (according to the Chinese CLTC cycle).

The second modification is all-wheel drive — the same electric motor is installed on its front axle as on the rear. The total output of the installation is 462 hp, and the traction battery has a capacity of 77.9 kWh.

The twin-engine version has a curb weight of 2,250 kg and a cruising range of 580 km. In the future, we should also expect the most long-range version, capable of driving up to 660 km.

Unfortunately, the dynamic characteristics of the Chinese two-door are not advertised yet.

As a reference point, you can take the mentioned Neta S sedan, which is offered in China with the same power units.

Its rear-wheel drive variant accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, while the all-wheel drive variant accelerates in 3.9 seconds.

Dvuverka should debut on the Chinese market before the end of the second quarter of 2023.

It is expected that it will be slightly more expensive than a four-door, for which they ask from 36 to 50 thousand US dollars (from 2.9 to 4.0 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
