Sales of the 2023 Acura MDX crossover have begun.

Japanese automaker Acura showed the new mid-size seven-seat crossover Acura MDX 2023 in October 2020.

The car is built on a new platform, which is already used by the TLX model.

Compared to its predecessor, the overall dimensions of the new product have become larger. The interior has also become more spacious.

The car also has a more comfortable suspension (with McPherson struts at the front and a multi-link at the rear).

Inside, the new product features sports seats with a more developed profile, a huge panoramic roof, a fully digital 12.3-inch Acura Precision Cockpit instrument panel, a 1000-watt ELS Studio 3D Signature Edition audio system with 25 speakers, and open-pore wood inserts. and metallic accents, polished aluminum and Milano leather.

The new Acura MDX 2023 — 2024 is equipped with a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine with a power of 290 hp. (362 Nm of torque).

Later, a “charged” modification of the Type S with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine developing 355 hp will be presented. power and 480 Nm of torque.

The new crossover is equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive SH-AWD, as well as a retuned suspension and enhanced Brembo brakes.

The 2023 Acura MDX crossover is positioned as a family crossover, as evidenced by the third row of passenger seats, clearly designed for transporting children, but even here it cannot do without the family “sportiness”.

The range of offered versions includes a “charged” Type S modification, and it differs not only in a more powerful engine.

The 2023 Acura MDX Type S is the first crossover of the Japanese brand to receive air suspension as standard.

It allows you to change the ground clearance (in the range of 170-239 mm), plus the chassis has adaptive shock absorbers and more powerful stabilizers.

The suspension itself is distinguished by “driver” settings; there are Brembo brakes with four-piston mechanisms on the wheel hubs, but the engineers went much further and even worked on the layout for better weight distribution.
