Sedan Changan Lamore starts: cheaper than competitors.

In our market, the new Chinese four-door is so far presented in the only configuration with a non-alternative 1.5 turbo engine.

The Changan office announced the start of sales of the Lamore sedan, and this is the ninth official premiere of the brand in our country in 2023

The rest are the four-door Alsvin and Eado Plus, the large Uni-V liftback, the Hunter Plus pickup truck, the CS85, Uni-T, CS75 Plus and CS95 crossovers.

And the entire line of the Chinese brand now includes 15 models in Russia (along with restyling and cars of different generations).

Recall that this four-door entered the home market in the spring, in its native China it is called Yida.

Appearance features — a frameless radiator grille, narrow diode optics and retractable door handles.

Changan Lamore/Yida length is 4770 mm, width — 1840 mm, height — 1440 mm, wheelbase — 2765 mm.

That is, the sedan is a direct competitor to Chery Arrizo 8 and Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max available in Russia.

And when compared with models of non-Chinese brands, then in terms of its dimensions, Lamore is between Hyundai Elantra and Sonata.

The ground clearance of the Changan novelty intended for Russia is only 128 mm. The four-door McPherson strut front and multi-link rear.

Inside, there is a 10-inch instrument screen, a 13.2-inch vertical multimedia system tablet, a two-spoke steering wheel and a two-story central tunnel. Trunk volume — 520 liters.

As in China, in Russia, Changan Lamore is presented with one engine: it is a 1.5 petrol turbo four, which produces 166 hp in our version. and 300 Nm (in China, the power is 170 hp, but the torque is lower there — 260 Nm).

The engine is combined with a seven-speed robotic box with two «wet» clutches. Front wheel drive only.

The package is also the same, it includes: 18-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, light and rain sensors, eco-leather upholstery, both screens, a regular DVR, climate control, wireless charging for a smartphone, a face recognition system, cameras all-round visibility, six airbags, ESP, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and blind spot monitoring systems, traffic jam assistant.

There is also a smart key with which you can, for example, start the engine or find a car in the parking lot. But at the same time, only the driver’s seat has heating.

The recommended price of Changan Lamore is 2,789,900 rubles.

Competitors are more expensive: the Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max sedan with a 1.5 turbo engine (190 hp) and 7DCT at the price list today costs 2,990,000 rubles, and for Chery Arrizo 8 with 1.6T (186 hp) and 7DCT they ask for at least 3,359 900 rubles (taking into account the current direct discount of 150,000 rubles).
