Chevrolet S10 2024.

The Chevrolet S10 has undergone a restyling: different exterior, new interior and revised technology.

So far, the updated pickup truck, designed for the South American market, is presented only with a two-row cabin.

Later in the lineup will appear cheaper single-row variants.

American brand Chevrolet started producing the S10 in 1981, for the past years the model had several generation changes.

The current pickup truck appeared in 2012: under this name, Chevrolet Colorado, which was designed for the United States, began to be sold in the South American market.

Restyling S10 survived in 2017, and now the manufacturer has presented once again an updated car.

During the restyling, the Chevrolet S10 has changed its exterior: images of the freshened pickup were published earlier this week.

The truck has got dents on the hood, as well as a new horizontally elongated head optics, which received a narrower shape and a different «stuffing».

Fog lights are also differently designed, besides, the inscription with the brand name has disappeared from the front part.

The pickup has changed the shape and pattern of the two-storey radiator grille, it is made up of horizontal curved lines.

The recognizable logo in the form of a «bow tie» is located in the center on the lintel between the upper and lower parts of the grille.

On the stern there is no brand mark now, it is replaced by a large inscription with the brand name. The pickup truck has been updated due to different lights.

The exterior design varies depending on the version. So, the base Z71 has black decorative elements, the middle variant LTZ can be distinguished by a plastic dodger in body color, and for the top version High Country prepared a set of chrome parts.

It should be noted that Chevrolet S10 debuted in expensive versions with a two-row cabin, although later the model will have «workhorses» — more affordable versions with a single-row cabin.

During the restyling the truck received a new interior. S10 was equipped with a different steering wheel, adjustable both in height and reach.

And also it has a different front panel with an 8-inch virtual dashboard, as well as horizontally located touchscreen of MyLink infotainment system, its diagonal is 11 inches.

Even fresher pickup truck received new seats, and the list of equipment includes ESP system and six airbags, optional automatic braking, marking tracking, and blind spot monitoring.

The updated pickup truck is equipped with a modernized version of a four-cylinder turbodiesel Duramax engine with a volume of 2.8 liters.

The engine is quieter and consumes less fuel, the power has increased by 7 «horses» up to 207 hp, and the maximum torque is now 510 Nm (10 Nm more than the pre-reform version).

The 6-ACP has been replaced by an eight-speed automatic, which was previously received by the «twin» Chevrolet Colorado.

The freshened S10 takes 9.4 seconds to accelerate from a place to a hundred (0.7 seconds less compared to its predecessor).

Since today, dealers in Brazil have started taking orders for the restyled Chevrolet S10.

Prices of the current two-row versions range from 281,900 to 302,900 reals (equivalent to about 5.15 — 5.53 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
