The brutal Dongfeng Mengshi M-Hero 2024 SUV has appeared in car showrooms: its price is impressive.

The Chinese SUV Dongfeng Mengshi M-Hero appeared in Chelyabinsk.

A few weeks ago it became known about the appearance on the Russian market of a new brutal SUV, the Dongfeng Mengshi M-Hero 2024.

Its pre-sales will begin this month. At the same time, the Bovid auto center in Chelyabinsk has already presented a car.

For Russians, it is announced in two modifications — with a hybrid and electric installation.

The cost starts from 18 million rubles. The publication “74.ru” shares details about the model.

Dongfeng Mengshi M-Hero is a licensed copy of the Hummer SUV.

True, there are several significant differences between them.

Firstly, the Chinese car is positioned for mass use.

Secondly, it has a more unique appearance. Let us remind you that the presentation of the model in China took place last year, but serial assembly began only in the summer of this year.

Despite its appearance, inside it offers quite a luxurious and comfortable environment.

In the hybrid version, the SUV has an autonomy of 750 kilometers, while in the electric version this parameter corresponds to a value of 450 km.

In the second case, a 143 kWh battery is used. The Dongfeng Mengshi M-Hero is built on a frame chassis and has an independent double-wishbone air suspension.

The equipment includes airbags, many electronic assistants, multimedia and more.

The framed M-Hero is equipped with three electric motors with a total power of 816 horsepower and a peak torque of 1050 Nm.

The internal combustion engine as part of the hybrid installation acts as a generator and serves to charge a lithium battery with a capacity of 65.8 kilowatt-hours.

The declared range on pure electricity is up to 175 kilometers, and the total range is 750 kilometers. The acceleration time from zero to 100 kilometers per hour is also given — six seconds.

Charging the battery with constant current from 30 to 80 percent is 38 minutes, and in slow charging mode to 100 percent is six hours.

Dongfeng emphasizes that the M-Hero can be used under sudden temperature changes: it can withstand from -30 degrees to +55 degrees Celsius.

The premium status of the model is indicated by the finishing materials: Nappa leather and rare wood veneer are used.

The equipment includes heated, ventilated and massage seats, a Russified multimedia system with a 15.6-inch screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, an individual monitor of the same 12.3 inches for the front passenger and another eight-inch display for passengers on the second row.

There is both wireless charging for smartphones and four USB Type-A and Type-C connectors, and the Dynaudio audio system has 16 speakers.

Later, an all-electric version of the model with four electric motors with a total capacity of 1,088 horsepower will also appear on sale.

This M-Hero accelerates from zero to “hundreds” in 4.2 seconds, and a battery with a capacity of 140 kilowatt-hours provides it with up to 450 kilometers of autonomous travel.
