The four-door E8 became the third – and flagship – model of the line, joining the smaller Galaxy L6 sedan and Galaxy L7 crossover.

Unlike the Galaxy L6 and Galaxy L7, which are based on the E-CMA platform (a type of CMA, Compact Modular Architecture), the Galaxy E8 sedan is built on the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) “trolley”, which also underlies the Zeekr and Polestar electric vehicles. , Volvo EM90 minivan.

The top version has an 800-volt system and two electric motors (that is, all-wheel drive), which together produce 646 hp.

It is stated that the all-wheel drive sedan will reach the first “hundred” in 3.49 seconds. The battery has a capacity of 62 or 76 kWh (depending on the version), range varies from 550 to 665 km according to the Chinese CLTC cycle.

The starting price of the Geely Galaxy E8 is 188,000 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 2.36 million rubles at the current exchange rate.

However, the price tag is still preliminary, which means that after the launch of “live” sales, the electric sedan will most likely turn out to be a little cheaper.

Meanwhile, Geely has already held a foreign display of the G8: in early December, the electric car was demonstrated at the motor show in Saudi Arabia. That is, later the Galaxy E8 will apparently be exported.
