There are new details about the Kia EV9 2023.

The crossover may become a competitor to the German BMW X5. Recently there was official information that the electric crossover Kia EV9 2023 will be sold in Europe.

Now the manufacturer has shared detailed information about the car, revealing many important nuances.

Representatives of the South Korean company said that the car will have the same dimensions as the previously presented prototype.

For reference, the length of the concept is 4930 mm and width is 2055 mm. Thus, the distance between front and rear axles is 3.1 meters.

Dimensions of the new Korean can be compared with a luxury Bavarian crossover BMW X5.

The model will be offered on the market with three rows of seats. However, buyers will be available the standard seven-seat version and a modification with two captain’s chairs in the middle row.

The manufacturer has also confirmed that the novelty will be based on E-GMP architecture, which is already the basis of some Korean electric cars.

Features of the power unit are still under the veil of secrecy. However, we already know that it will be able to drive more than 500 kilometers on a single charge.

Design of the novelty is still possible to judge only by a concept. The prototype has a massive body with straight angular lines, which gives the car an appearance of a real SUV.

There are a lot of non-standard solutions. First of all, we should note the optics, presented in the form of a thin strip, going along the line of the hood and small diodes, which are integrated directly into the body panel.

Also draws attention to the unusual shape of the side windows and protruding wheel arches.

The stern has large lights with bodies in the form of three branches. Also there you can notice a massive bumper with a large metal overlay.

The interior has a futuristic steering wheel, which is likely to be replaced with a regular steering wheel.

Also the interior is decorated with a large digital panel, displayed right above the «torpedo».

It became known today that the new KIA EV9 large crossover will go on sale next year.

This model arouses genuine interest among fans of Korean technology, but there is almost no official information about it.

It is also unknown what the production version of the electric crossover will look like, so there are renders from independent designers of the alleged appearance of the parkette in the web.

Today there is a new image, quite clearly revealing the appearance of the KIA EV9 2023.

When creating this rendering, their author was guided by the previously presented concept EV9, which features square, chopped shapes.

However, to improve the aerodynamic performance of the model, the designer slightly tilted both the nose of the crossover and its windshield.

Generally speaking, the rendering retains 70 percent of the concept car’s design elements, which have been brought from a futuristic look to a more traditional one.

Today it became known that the new KIA EV9 will be the largest modern KIA model, although the specific length of its body has not yet been revealed.

In opinion of auto experts, from front to rear bumper of the «Korean» will be about 5 meters, which will make the model a potential competitor to such premium rocket cars as Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90.

However, we should not forget that the novelty from Kia will be fully electric, while Audi and Volvo have not yet presented their «green» variants of large parkettes.

Anyway we should praise once again the manufacturers from South Korea, trying to gain world recognition and not to yield to the standards of the automobile industry.

The new crossover will be built on the E-GMP platform that Kia and Hyundai developed together to accommodate 100% electric cars.

It is claimed that the cabin will have three rows of seats with 6 or 7 seats.

The company is ambitiously claiming the Kia EV9 can travel 540 kilometers on a single charge and is expected to need about five seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h. How it will actually be, we will know next year.
