Recently there was a presentation of a completely new Mitsubishi Colt.

This highly anticipated hatchback is set to take the market by combining stylish design, impressive performance and advanced features.

Mitsubishi has officially unveiled the new generation Colt hatchback, marking a major milestone for the brand.

The start of production is scheduled for September, and sales in Europe — at the very end of 2023.

Drawing inspiration from its French counterpart, the Renault Clio, the new Mitsubishi Colt boasts a unique design that sets it apart from the competition.

Although it bears similarities to the Clio, the «Japanese» showcases its own unique features, including a redesigned front fascia, distinctive bumpers and charming lighting elements.

The base model is powered by a 67-horsepower 1.0-liter naturally aspirated engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

For those looking for a bit more power, a 1.0-litre turbocharged version with 91 hp is available.

The Japanese company held an official presentation of the new generation Mitsubishi Colt 2024.

As expected, this model turned out to be almost a complete copy of the latest Clio, which produces Renault.

Both cars differ from each other, in fact, only in separate details of the exterior.

The Japanese novelty will go into production in early autumn. About a month after that, it will enter the European market.

Despite the «blind» copying, the Japanese company did not take all the power units available to the prototype.

In particular, the presented model did not receive a 1.3-liter turbo engine.

Instead, it is equipped by default with a naturally aspirated liter engine that develops no more than 67 hp.

This unit is combined only with «mechanics» at 5 speeds. For a surcharge, a similar engine appears under the hood of the hatchback, the output of which was increased to 91 hp.

Included with it is also proposed «mechanics», but at 6 speeds.

A fully hybrid version of the Japanese hatchback will also go on sale, under the hood of which there is a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter engine that produces up to 143 hp with two electric motors.
