Toyota has unveiled the concept of a new hypercar GR H2 Racing with a hydrogen engine.

The Japanese company has unveiled a new concept Toyota GR H2 Racing.

This hypercar stands out with one important feature that no other similar car lacks: it is equipped with a hydrogen-powered engine.

The Japanese model was developed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. That is, we are talking about a car that will never go into mass production.

At the same time, as it happened before, the technological solutions that were implemented in the presented concept will later be implemented in other cars of the Japanese brand.

However, it is not yet known what characteristics this novelty differs in: the manufacturer has not disclosed all its features.

It is stated that the length of the presented model is 5100 mm, and the width reaches 2050 mm.

The car is driven by an unusual combination: in addition to the hydrogen engine, this hypercar has a hybrid installation.

Representatives of the Japanese brand note that this configuration has more advantages compared to more traditional combinations.

In particular, this combination provides a better range than similar hybrids.

The Japanese brand once again made a splash by presenting a very interesting project using hydrogen fuel.

Today, June 9, the new Toyota GR H2 Racing 2026 was presented.

This is a kind of preview of what the production version of the model will look like, the premiere of which is expected closer to the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2026 races.

It was this year that the admission to the track of cars running on hydrogen fuel was announced.

As for the Toyota GR H2 Racing, it impresses not only with its technical characteristics, which, by the way, are only partially disclosed so far, but also with its appearance.

The car looks very impressive. The first thing that catches your eye is the interesting outlines of the model, obtained in accordance with aerodynamic indicators.

The second thing that deserves attention is the coloring. Several shades are involved here, which, nevertheless, are in harmony with each other.

As mentioned above, the characteristics of the concept are not disclosed. It is known that the length of the car corresponds to 5,100 mm, and the width is 2,050 mm.

As for the “stuffing”, a hybrid system using a hydrogen engine is used here. The capacity of the installation is not yet known.

Most likely, more detailed information will be known closer to the debut of the serial version of the model.
