Nissan Kiiro 2024.

The Nissan Micra hatchback, which is losing customers, has a new special version, the Kiiro.

The car by Japanese brand in this version will be produced in limited edition of 250 copies. That is twice less than previously announced Juke Kiiro.

The Nissan company produces a compact hatchback Micra (known in some markets as March) since 1982, and since then the model has managed to change several generations.

The car of the current fifth generation appeared in 2016 (production started in December).

According to the Carsalesbase website, sales of the model have been gradually declining since 2018. Thus, at the end of the «covid» 2020 customers bought 39,721 units. (down 39.1 percent from a year earlier).

During the incomplete 2021 (for January-November), customers bought 34,181 pcs. (6.5% less than in the first 11 months of the previous year).

Nissan Micra will have a new special version called Kiiro: its circulation will be quite modest, make only 250 copies.

Recall, the same version is the other model of the brand — Juke — and its circulation is two times larger.

The limited edition of both cars of the Japanese brand is timed to the latest movie The Batman.

The new special version of the «hatch» is already available for order in the UK.

Nissan Micra Kiiro has not received any identifying marks associated with the character of the fictional DC universe.

However, this car has several unique elements that distinguish it from the «normal» hatchback.

Thus, the eye at first glance catches details of bright yellow color, located on the front and rear bumper, as well as side panels.

On the back of the pillar there is the original drawing with the name of the special edition, the luggage door got rear window protection, besides the model is equipped with 17-inch glossy alloy wheels of black color.

This Micra is based on Acenta kit, so the list of standard equipment includes Nissan Vision package: it includes rear parking sensors, a navigation system and air conditioning.

In the center of the front panel there is 7-inch touch screen multimedia with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

However, the upholstery of seats of this model is usual black, without yellow stitching, unlike the Juke Kiiro.

«Stuffing» in the new special version of the Nissan Micra is the same as in the «regular» model.

So, in Britain a variant with addition Kiiro is offered with a 1,0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol motor producing 92 hp and a maximum torque of 160 Nm.

The model has front-wheel drive, and the engine is paired with either manual transmission or variator.

In the UK buying a Nissan Micra Kiiro with a «manual» will cost at least £18,375, with a CVT — at least £19,725.

We also know the starting price tags of the Juke Kiiro parker in the same market: from £24,350 for the version with manual gearbox and from £25,850 for the variant with «automatic» DCT.

Recall, a new subcompact all-electric hatchback will replace the Nissan Micra in 2024.
