Geely Binrui Cool 2024.

Recently, the new Geely Binrui Cool sedan entered the market. The car was offered for a minimum of 2,411,111 rubles.

Some dealers are asking about the same amount for the Lada Vesta in the new Sportline version. At the same time, the Chinese model is better not only than the Russian one, but also the pre-reform Camry.

The superiority over the Japanese sedan can be seen in the technical part.

The Chinese new product is equipped with a 1.5-liter 181-horsepower turbo engine, which Volvo installs on some of its models.

This unit provides good acceleration dynamics (which is greatly facilitated by the efficient 7-speed “robot”), consumes relatively little fuel and has a long service life. Moreover, the last parameter was confirmed in Russia.

The Chinese model is based on a durable and at the same time energy-intensive suspension, which copes well with many road irregularities.

However, the Binrui Cool has a relatively low ground clearance. But this drawback is generally typical for such sedans.

The Chinese new product also boasts rich basic equipment. But the joystick for controlling the transmission, which replaced the lever, will not appeal to all motorists.

An important advantage of Binrui Cool is that it is unified with many other Geely models.

Therefore, unlike cars from popular Chinese brands, there should be no problems with servicing this sedan.

Plus, the Chinese new product has a really spacious interior. That is, in fact, the Binrui Cool can lay claim to the title of the best sedan on the Russian market.

But finding this car is quite difficult, since it is imported unofficially. Therefore, there is a high probability that it will soon rise in price sharply.

Geely has updated its budget sports sedan on the Coolray platform. From the front, the “warmed-up” sedan looks completely different, but from the rear there are no changes, the interior differs only in finishing materials, but the filling is the same.

The Geely “state employee” is offered with a non-alternative 181-horsepower (290 Nm) 1.5-liter turbo engine and a 7-speed preselective “robot.”

The updated sedan was shown in the Champion Edition version, but it looks like the version with an expanded sports package will remain in the range: a spoiler on the trunk lid, overlays on the bumpers and sills, contrasting wheels and bright brake calipers.

The interior of the top version will also be richer: with bright decorative inserts and fragments of Alcantara.

The equipment does not depend on the configuration. Versions with “mechanics” and a variator, as well as low-power engines, were removed from the range.

Geely Binrui Cool is equipped with a 1.5 turbo-four in the boost version with 181 horsepower and 290 Nm.

The 4.7-meter-long sedan with a curb weight of 1,325 kilograms remains agile: acceleration from 0-100 takes 7.1 seconds.
