Geely Emgrand 2024: prices and configurations for the new sedan.
Geely has now officially introduced the Emgrand 2024 budget sedan to the market.

It was previously reported that it became available for purchase in some car dealerships.

The new product is long-awaited for compatriots, since it can compensate for the shortage of cars in the price segment of up to 2 million rubles.

According to some reports, the initial manual version will be priced at less than 2 million rubles, although official prices have not yet been announced.

The variation with automatic transmission is projected to reach a price of 2.1-2.2 million rubles.

Thus, in price it may be comparable to more expensive versions of Vesta.

In total, 4 model configurations will be available, 6 body colors to choose from, and the power plant will be a 122-horsepower naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Details about the equipment are also known. So, the database includes 15-inch stamped wheels, air conditioning, an 8-inch media screen, 2 speakers, a multifunction steering wheel, a pair of airbags, and more.

The higher trim levels include heated front seats, rear parking sensors, and 4 speakers.

In the same version, but with automatic transmission, climate control, contactless access, etc. are stated.

The pre-top version has 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, a rear view camera, and the most expensive version has 17-inch wheels, a 12.3-inch dashboard and a media system of the same size, leather interior and other options.

The new Chinese Geely Emgrand sedan has a right-hand drive version.

It bears its own name and will only be sold in one market.

Sales of the new Geely sedan, called Emgrand, began in Russia just two weeks ago.

The machine, which was already offered on our market before, has entered its third generation.

Along with it, the 4-door changed its platform, moving to the Coolray crossover architecture (BMA).

The day before it turned out that Emgrand now also has a right-hand drive version. And under its own name.

According to TopGear, sales of the Proton S70 sedan will soon begin in Malaysia.

The car is a twin of the Emgrand and differs externally only in its own nameplates and a radiator grille with a different design.

The main changes took place in the car’s interior, where the steering wheel is now located not on the left side, like all Chinese cars, but on the right.

The front panel has exactly the same architecture as in the original Emgrand, but stands out from its background with a unique instrument cluster display.

In addition, the software of the sedan’s multimedia system was reworked in the car, transferring it to its own software that supports the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.

Finally, the Proton S70 has a different transmission selector, but only because it has a different gearbox.

Instead of a CVT or a classic 6-speed automatic transmission (as in Russia), this 4-door is equipped with a robotic gearbox with two clutches, coupled with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo engine producing 102 horsepower and 142 Nm.

For comparison, here Emgrand is sold with a naturally aspirated “four”, and in China the car is offered with a hybrid power unit based on the same naturally aspirated engine.

It is not yet known how much a right-hand drive Emgrand will cost in Malaysia, but in Russia they ask for at least 2 million rubles for a left-hand drive car.
