The updated crossover Haval Dargo X received a more powerful engine and design in the style of Land Rover.

Details about the new product became known from the data of the Ministry of Industry of China.

Haval is going to update the Dargo X crossover. According to the Chinese Automobiles portal, information has already appeared with the Chinese Ministry of Industry, so we can talk about a fairly early premiere.

The appearance of the model will change slightly. The first thing that catches your eye is the classic plastic body kit instead of the “rivet” type in the current Dargo X.

The radiator grille has also changed — it has become similar to Land Rover models. By the way, the company logo was integrated into the radiator grill — previously it was an independent element.

At the rear of the car, it is worth noting the appearance of a monoblock headlight instead of the current separate lights.

However, external changes are still inferior to those innovations that will appear under the hood of the car.

The power of the 2.0-liter engine has grown significantly and now reaches 238 hp.

With such a motor, the car will be able to accelerate to 200 km / h, which was not the case with the previous version.

The weight of the car will increase slightly — now it is 1,740 kg, if we talk about the curb weight. The documents did not publish transmission data.

However, it can be assumed that Haval will choose a new robotic gearbox.

Its weight compared to the previous one is reduced by 36%, and fuel consumption is also reduced — by about 7%.

At the moment, Haval Dargo X is sold in Russia in two versions with a starting price tag of 2,969,000 rubles.

In Russia, the cross is offered in four versions, the price of which ranges from 2.99 to 3.55 million rubles.

Any of the versions is equipped with a 2-liter turbo engine, the output of which is 192 horsepower.

The car is equipped with various driving modes and adapted to local operating conditions.

Its assembly goes through a full cycle, including welding and body painting.

The Chinese manufacturer built its new product on the basis of the L.E.M.O.N architecture, thanks to which it got a load-bearing body.

Both SUV suspensions are independent, and the cross itself has received several different driving modes that will allow you to move equally comfortably both under normal conditions and off-road and poor-quality road surfaces.

In any version, the crossover relies on a two-liter turbo engine, the output of which is 192 horsepower, and the torque is 320 N * m.

It is paired with a 7-speed robotic gearbox. The only option that the buyer can choose is the lead drive.

In the basic version, it is front, and in all others it is full. According to the automaker, the SUV in mixed driving mode will consume from 8.3 to 9.2 liters of gasoline.

Up to a speed of 100 km / h, the car accelerates in 9-10 seconds, and its maximum is 180 km / h.

The SUV body dimensions are 4620x1910x1780 mm, which indicates that it is not a competitor to SUVs.

At the same time, its ground clearance is 200 mm, which is superior to many average crossovers. The wheelbase of the car reaches 2738 mm.

The gas tank of the car can hold about 60 liters of fuel, but depending on the position of the seats, from 333 to 1342 liters of various cargo can be loaded into the trunk.
