Few people know, but «Avtovaz» planned to present a sport wagon series «Vesta» back in 2018.

Then this model was officially certified. However, the manufacturer for some reasons postponed the release of such a model, so it will appear only after the release of the Lada Vesta with facelift.

This car will be made in the style of the updated model.

At the front there will be a new bumper, grille and headlights with LED filling. At the back of the model will be headlights with a modified matrix pattern.

However, the sports wagon will also get its unique body elements, which include new wheels, widened wheel arches and diffuser with rectangular exhaust pipes.

The interior of this modification will be the same as in the maximum configuration of the classic updated «Vesta».

That is, there will be a large vertical monitor of the complex multimedia, electronic «dashboard» and a block of settings of the climate system from the Renault Arcana.

Also there will be the original «SPORT» logos, which are in the actual «charged» sedan Lada Vesta.

By the way, from him the car will get and 1.8-liter «engine» with 145 horsepower.

However, it is possible that with the debut of this novelty, the motor range of the manufacturer will get the long-announced 150-horsepower turbo unit from Renault.

The Russian sedan is sold in one configuration and in a special version with a price tag of 1,159,900 — 1,215,900 rubles for the Luxe and Luxe + Multimedia package modifications.

The Russian car can be called a direct competitor for Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Polo, Kia Rio and Hyundai Solaris.
