Pagani has announced a special version of the new Huayra hypercar.

Pagani Grandi Complicazioni is preparing to release a new limited edition version of the Huayra.

Pagani’s one-off and one-off division Pagani Grandi Complicazioni has announced a new hypercar that looks like a roofless version of the Huayra Imola.

The only photo showing the rear of the camouflaged Huayra on the track was published on Pagani’s social networks with the following description: “The new hypercar from the Grandi Complicazioni division is ready to hit the road.

And roar. Will you be able to recognize what is hidden under the veil? Stay tuned: you’ll find out sooner than you think.»

A closer look reveals similarities with the Imola model.

Large air intakes in the fender and lower bumper look identical to the standard model, although the diffuser is slightly redesigned and a distinctive roof scoop floats above the roadster’s more sculpted rear end.

Let’s remember that the Pagani Huayra Imola debuted in 2020 as the most tracked version of the Huayra, intended for street use, with a limited production of 5 cars in addition to the original prototype.

The hypercar had an updated body kit, reduced weight and a V12 engine from AMG producing 827 hp.

These characteristics may be reflected in the eventual Imola Roadster, created especially for a lucky few of Pagani’s favorite customers.

Pagani Grandi Complicazioni’s previous project was the $7.3 million Codalunga, which is also based on the Huayra, albeit with a completely redesigned body and a longer tail.

Codalunga is produced in a limited edition of 5 cars, but its V12 engine is even more powerful: 840 hp.

The new hypercar will make its official debut soon.

Pagani has published the first image of a mysterious supercar that, according to the accompanying caption, is ready to hit the roads.

What kind of supercar this is is not specified, but even in a camouflaged car you can recognize one of the special versions of the Huayra coupe, which Pagani began producing back in 2011.

Based on some details, in particular the configuration of the diffuser and wing, the future new product can be identified as a 2019 Pagani Huayra Imola.

At the same time, the company stated that the preparation of the supercar was carried out by the Grandi Complicazioni division, which is responsible for special projects within the company.

You can also see the unusual contours of the top of the supercar.

Apparently, the Huayra Imola in the new modification will lose its roof, which will be replaced by two roll bars and a characteristic central fairing.

The Imola was equipped with a six-liter V12 from Mercedes-AMG, which developed 827 hp. and 1100 Nm. At the time of its debut, this modification was considered the most powerful in the family.

The current Pagani model is now considered the Utopia coupe, which retains the same engine, but received a new design and improved body structure.

Pagani plans to produce only 99 standard Utopias, but as with the Huayra, numerous special editions cannot be ruled out.
