New Kia Sportage 2023.

Last year, sales of the new Sportage started on the Russian market.

Moreover, by that time, the Korean company was able to organize the assembly of the car at the Kaliningrad Automobile Plant.

But for well-known reasons, the supply of the crossover to the domestic market was discontinued. But now the Russian media have announced the return of the 2023 Kia Sportage to our country.

An important feature of this version of the crossover is that it is not adapted to the domestic climate.

That is, the Korean model may not be as reliable as the one that was sold last year.

But despite the foregoing, they asked for 4-4.5 million rubles for it, depending on the modification and the car dealership where the crossover is sold.

So much money will have to be paid for a car, under the hood of which lies a 190-horsepower 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, complemented by an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The motor itself was previously delivered to Russia with other models of the Korean brand. Therefore, future owners should not have problems finding components.

Design

As noted above, after the generation change, the car received drastic changes in terms of appearance.

Even if you compare the old fourth generation and the new fifth, it will be difficult to understand that this is the same model. Boomerang-shaped daytime running lights are installed at the front.

By the way, DRLs are tightly adjacent to the diamond-shaped headlights of the head light, which looks quite impressive.

Between the optics is a monolithic panel, and the functional grille is located above, and it is made in the form of a pair of small cutouts in a silver insert.

Below you can see the bumper, which almost repeats the DRL.

The profile draws attention with stylish discs and swift lines.

At the stern of the car there are lamps of an unusual shape and a rather massive bumper with a metal insert.

It is also worth noting that the car has a rather attractive interior, where you can find many modern options.

An electronic panel is installed on the left side of the dashboard, which simultaneously plays the role of a screen for a multimedia complex and an electronic “tidy”.

On the driver’s side is a multifunctional steering wheel with comfortable anatomical tides.

Below you can see a separate block of climate control settings, which is represented by washers and buttons.
