Renewed Hyundai Palisade 2023.

The updated Hyundai Palisade launched in Kazakhstan, and it is cheaper than the pre-reform SUV in the Russian Federation.

In the neighboring country, the big crossover is still presented only with a gasoline engine. There are three configurations to choose from.

Restyled Hyundai Palisade debuted last spring, and even before the premiere it was known about the brand’s plans to introduce this crossover to our market: an updated model would appear in the fall.

Due to current events there is no official supply of large SUV in the Russian Federation, although dealers still have the pre-reform cars.

But the upgraded Palisade made it to neighboring Kazakhstan — where sales have already started, customers are offered cars of local assembly (before the reformed cross was also made there, for the Russian Federation model was previously assembled Kaliningrad «Avtotor»).

After restyling the Palisad received a new radiator grille with plates and other bumpers, exhaust pipes are square instead of trapezoidal.

Also the headlights were replaced, but kept vertical running lights divided into three parts (lower sections were made in the form of a clear letter L).

There is a new steering wheel, the air deflectors are hidden in one line, the screen of multimedia system became bigger.

In Kazakhstan the Hyundai Palisade is presented with the only engine — it is the former petrol «atmospheric» V6 3.5 MPI.

Thus the engine is not «smothered» as in Russia: in the restyled crossover it develops 277 hp (in the Russian Federation — 249 hp).

The engine is combined with eight-speed «automatic», the drive is only full.

Meanwhile, in the SUV’s brochure there is a 2.2 diesel rated at 200 hp (it was in the pre-reform model), that is, later the range can be expanded.

The updated crossover is available in three configurations. In the basic version of Family has LED headlights, 20-inch wheels, front and side airbags, air curtains, multimedia system with 12.3-inch touchscreen, virtual «dashboard» (also 12.3 inches), heated steering wheel and seats, three-zone climate control, sunroof, ventilation front seats, cruise control, all-around view cameras.

In the Luxe version appear Nappa leather trim, a panoramic sunroof, projection display and Hyundai Smart Sense complex (adaptive «cruise», auto brake and lane-keeping systems).

Top Palisade Calligraphy is also a driver’s seat massager, rear seat ventilation and a cabin mirror with a display.

The model has 8 seats by default, and seven is an option for all configurations.

In translation to our money according to the current exchange rate the restyled Hyundai Palisade will cost in Kazakhstan approximately 3 430 000 — 3 830 000 rubles.

For comparison, in Russia a pre-reform gasoline crossover according to the price list today costs from 5 319 000 rubles.
