If Mahindra and UAZ unite, everyone will get what they need. The Indian manufacturer will enter our country’s market and will be able to use the UAZ trademark and assembly lines in Ulyanovsk, and the Russian concern will expand its model range and save itself from bankruptcy.

The first vehicle under this plan could be the UAZ Bars 2022-2023. Designers have recently presented renderings that show what such an SUV could look like.

The model has a massive body, which makes the car brutal.

However, unlike the same «Patriot», the car on the rendering is made in a more modern style. By the way, the novelty is very similar to «Japanese» Toyota Highlander.

The interior of the «Bars» has a lot of modern options, as well as quality decoration elements, which makes the interior more luxurious.

Such a frame SUV could be powered by an Indian 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel motor with a maximum output of 179 «horses».

Such a unit could be paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
