BMW X2 2024.
BMW recently brought to road testing a prototype of the new generation X2 crossover.
The car is still covered with dense camouflage, as there is a lot of time left before its official presentation.
But that hasn’t stopped an independent designer from recreating the looks of the new 2024 BMW X2.
The published render shows that the Bavarian model, despite the change of generations, will survive evolutionary development.
Like the «older» crossovers, the BMW X2 will retain the oval roof, which gives the car a sporty look.
This effect is reinforced by other exterior details. According to the designer, redesigned optics will be prepared for the BMW X2, which will retain the corporate identity. The radiator grille will become more angular.
The front of the BMW X2 has a modern new bumper that makes the car aggressive. It has sharp edges and complex transitions.
Its central air intake, divided into 2 parts, is framed on the sides by curved protrusions, behind which wide vents are hidden.
It is reported that the Bavarian model, as before, after the update will offer a wide engine range.
It will include not only gasoline and turbodiesel units, but also electric motors with hybrid installations.
At the same time, the list of available engines will vary depending on the market in which the crossover is presented.
The dense camouflage still prevents you from seeing the exterior of the novelty.
However, it is obvious that the model will clearly resemble the cross-coupe that has been popular in recent years.
The updated X2 features a streamlined body, flush door handles, a pronounced rear spoiler and a dual exhaust system.
The novelty will borrow the engine range from the X1. It’s the same 2.0-liter 241-horsepower TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine.
The M35i variant will be more powerful: it will get a four-cylinder turbo engine with a return of about 302 hp.
An alternative version is the iX2 with a 64.7 kWh battery, all-wheel drive and a pair of electric motors with a total power of 309 hp.
Up to a hundred iX1 will accelerate in just 5.6 seconds, and on a single charge, the electric car will travel up to 440 kilometers.
